I would not be shocked to see Wade or Garrett axed tomorrow. It would have been different if the game was competitive. If the team had some semblance of preparedness. But it didn't.

We lost to a better prepared team. There is no forgiving that. This loss was akin to the egg we laid in the last two games last year.

We had a nice four game run at the end this year but we couldn't keep it going. I could live with the loss. What I can't deal very well with is the way we lost it.

Then Houck should go because his unit is the one that failed.

I think we all said this last year or privately hoped. Lets see what reality shows us and shelf all the other possibilites.

I think both Wade and Garrett are back in 2010.

The guy who may retire is Houck. That's the only guy I can really see leaving.

Yep, other than Free, Houck hasn't done much last year or this year. For being highest paid OL coach, doesn't have much to show for it. It could the talent obviously, but still, if you are getting paid that much, you have to compensate for talent, with technique etc.

I love Wade, I really do. I think he's a great coordinator.

But I would love to see for a once a head coach that is a motivator and can inspire confidence, when instead we have to look at Wade's clueless face every time the camera goes over his head. Yeah it's my own personal bias, and doesn't warrant Wade leaving, just my two cents on how I see the situation.

And with Garrett, he's just... so frustrating. He was great in 2007, but then the team fell off afterwards, and ever since I see a team that can get the yards but not the points. What good is the #2 offense if we're mediocre in making use of it?

A head may roll but I doubt it is tomorrow. And to be honest I don't know if it will be wade's or JG's.

I just don't see Jerry sitting still for this nonsense any longer. I would imagine he is on the phone tonight setting up a meeting with Cowher or Gruden or both.

Well Cowher has had his options limited but I don't think he will work with Jerry because I don't think Jerry will give up the control that cowher would want.

didn't this same unit fail under Sparano too?

Yup sure did but that seems to get lost on Jerry. No coach is going to fix the fact that we have a powderpuff front 5.

Yeah with Rob Pettiti and Torrin Tucker.

And those two are laughing somewhere today.

I know I'm going to get slammed for saying this, but I seriously hope this is the case. I think it would be supremely foolish to make huge coaching changes right now. It would set us back another season or four from possibly getting to the SB, and I don't think it's warranted. It was a bad game, to be sure, but it was preceded by some really terrific ones.

Alright, commence throwing rotten produce. *ducks*

After all the verbal diaherria he spewed about continuity last season? Its just not gonna happen, I dont see any way, especially when Shefter was actually reporting an EXTENSION for Wade in the works during the week.

I would be. Maybe some asst. will resign but nothing will happen to Wade or JG.
