A head is gonna roll at Valley Ranch tomorrow

I love Wade, I really do. I think he's a great coordinator.

But I would love to see for a once a head coach that is a motivator and can inspire confidence, when instead we have to look at Wade's clueless face every time the camera goes over his head. Yeah it's my own personal bias, and doesn't warrant Wade leaving, just my two cents on how I see the situation.

You just described The Jets HC.

Changing HCs doesn't always work but sometimes a change in attitude is needed. I know it's 20 20 hindsight, but Jerry should have made the change last year after the philly debacle and brought in Ryan. He would have inspired a kick-butt attitude in this team.

Yup sure did but that seems to get lost on Jerry. No coach is going to fix the fact that we have a powderpuff front 5.

I would hardly call Davis and Columbo powderpuff. I mean that's just dumb. I think our problem with the OL is at LG and then at LT, in that order. Flo can still dominate but I don't think his head is always in the game. And it sure didn't look like Free did all that much when he went in for Flo.

I can't see Jerry cutting Garrett lose before his contract is up,although stranger things have happened.I can see Wade not being retained since his contract is up though.I also think Houck may decide to call it a career as well.

I just don't see Jerry sitting still for this nonsense any longer. I would imagine he is on the phone tonight setting up a meeting with Cowher or Gruden or both.

Maybe you're right, but I just don't see it.

JJ just permitted Wade to bring back Pasq to coach the DL.

And I think JJ still has confidence in Garrett. JJ is continuing to groom him, IMO.

While the final score vs the Vikings was bad, I'd mention that our TOs let to quite a few of those points, along with going for it on 4th down end of the game (basically garbage time).

I don't see JJ cutting the HC and/or OC based on that game alone. But that's just my best guess, and I could easily be wrong.

I would not be shocked to see Wade or Garrett axed tomorrow. It would have been different if the game was competitive. If the team had some semblance of preparedness. But it didn't.

We lost to a better prepared team. There is no forgiving that. This loss was akin to the egg we laid in the last two games last year.

We had a nice four game run at the end this year but we couldn't keep it going. I could live with the loss. What I can't deal very well with is the way we lost it.

Better get used to it, im hearing that jason garrett and wade will get a 2 year extension. It is what it is. Think about this, jerry just said in a press conf after the game he liked the continuaity wiht the team, that on a bigger plane he had wished the cowboys had kept winning, but on a different plane now, (but with wade winning the NFC east and a playoff game) jerry is lukewarm content to that. But on a different plane now, which to me means, instead of both coaches getting a 4 year deal or more, that now, jerry will give them just a 2 year deal. Why a 2 year deal and not a 1 year deal. This years schedule for 2010 is murderous, even harder than 2009. We might be lucky to get even 10 wins this year, or go 9-7 this year, im not being down or upset, its just the way it is, schedule is murderous.

Columbo was run over and stomped today. Kosier did struggle but I dont care what anyone says, he may be one of the most under rated OL we have.

Our weakness is a LT and RT, Free will solve one of those problems.

LT was fine until Flozell went out.

oh good grief.

Good grief what You think Jerry is gonna sit by and watch this team go into a playoff game that badly prepared and not do anything?

If he does it would be a first for him. What has Jerry shown you that he is a patient man?

You must not have been paying attention much since he bought the team. Heck he fired a coach after winning a Super Bowl!

Good grief is right.

Giving Garrett the ax would be a monumental mistake. If anything, I'd like to see him replace Wade at the top. There are no good head coaching prospects out there, unless you want to throw Gruden into the mix.

As you said, hindsight is 20/20. It's also possible his schtick would not have worked here with this locker room.

As for the original post and 'heads rolling' tomorrow, I just don't see the need for it. My only exception would be with Garrett, and only if Wade feels a change needs to be made. I know he isn't really given that authority, but with as Wade-friendly as we've made this staff, I'd trust Wade's judgment on who he wants as his OC.

I know we got our butts kicked, but that happens. I don't think we lost because of Wade today.

***? You have us beating teams like the Saints, Giants and Vikings but losing to teams like the Texans and Titans?

Think of last year when we got pasted by the Eagles in a win and your in scenario. We would up getting rid of the ST coach but we kept most of the others including the HC and OC.

Just something to consider.

regardless of today

we made progress this year

We're exactly where we were in 2007, except we have less annoying people in the locker room.

No one is going to get canned. Sadly, Jerry has already laid his cards on the table by hiring Pasqualoni. Jerry stupidly went happy after last week and thought everything was fine, jumped the gun, hired a new D-line coach for Wade with every intention of keeping Wade.

Jerry's manic behaviour is getting old. If he was planning on bringing in a new HC or DC he would not be out hiring another line coach when a new HC might not want him. Pretty much par for the course as far as Jerry is concerned.

Could Jerry stun me ? Oh yea, I could see him go out and hire Gruden or something, but with the hire Jerry made he pretty much said "Wade is back." Could this horrific loss change that ? Yup, maybe, it was bad enough, but we will see.

As happy as it would make me, I truly doubt it. Not gonna happen.

Wow, look at JJ face... While I agree this team improved losing the way they did today stings!

I disagree. Some teams are able to get consistent pressure up the middle against us. Someone must be at fault (Kosier/Gurode/Davis)

And I'm in the exact opposite camp lol. In my mind, Garrett is clearly the 'weakest' cocah among the top guys on our staff. Wade has done a solid job as a head coach (good winning percentage, got a playoff win), and an even better job as the DC. Yet it's Garrett whose offense was middle of the pack in points scored.

In my estimation, promoting Wade would be weakening our team in two of those three categories. I see no reason to believe he'd make a superior head coach to Wade, and I have no reason to believe the new DC Garrett would hire would be an upgrade over Wade. My only hope would be that Garrett's replacement as a play caller would be an upgrade.

Funny how we can watch the same game yet couldn't draw two conclusions more different lol ... and in no way am I saying mine is the right one.
