Columbo was run over and stomped today. Kosier did struggle but I dont care what anyone says, he may be one of the most under rated OL we have.

Our weakness is a LT and RT, Free will solve one of those problems.

If you think Free is the solution at LT you didn't watch the game today. When he came in he got pushed around by Allen. Granted Allen is one of the best in the league but When you have to take one of your biggest weapons (Witten0 and use him as an additional lineman to help your supposed future LT you are in big trouble.

Free was good at RT but he is not someone I would want protecting Romo's blindside.

I really don't see anything happening.

I'd love to see some one with a little more backbone at the HC spot...All those stories they told of Frazier actually motivating players made me really jealous, hahaha...Overplayed by FOX maybe, but look at the game that Edwards had for his coach?!

I want to see that attitude here in Dallas, but in reality, next year it'll be more of the same

I disagree. Some teams are able to get consistent pressure up the middle against us. Someone must be at fault (Kosier/Gurode/Davis)

Gurode hardly impresses me but he's functional.

Jerry Jones disappointed, not discouraged

Jerry Jones did not expect to lose this way Sunday, but he was taking a bigger picture view of the season after the 34-3 loss in the divisional round to Minnesota.

"Totally different feeling than I felt from our last ballgame at this time last year on the road," Jones said. "We had more success than I think generally we were expecting to have. I'm proud of these guys. They did improve continuously. This shows that if you go on the road and pay a team like this and has good players and has a quarterback like Brett Favre that we didn't have enough.

I'm not discouraged in any way in where we're going. We made significant improvement and we'll build off the positives. This was disappointing ... I think we'll just again take the positives that we had, the positives that our staff has and I'm not going to get into the staff tonight but I feel and felt good coming into this game. I'm not discouraged. I'm disappointed."

No one is getting fired.

In fact we might even hire Rowdy back.

Yay, more continuity.

I said one of them which is probably RT but with some added strength and time I dont see any reason he cant be a LT

I love Wade, I really do. I think he's a great coordinator.

But I would love to see for a once a head coach that is a motivator and can inspire confidence, when instead we have to look at Wade's clueless face every time the camera goes over his head. Yeah it's my own personal bias, and doesn't warrant Wade leaving, just my two cents on how I see the situation.

And with Garrett, he's just... so frustrating. He was great in 2007, but then the team fell off afterwards, and ever since I see a team that can get the yards but not the points. What good is the #2 offense if we're mediocre in making use of it?

So being one of the last 8 teams playing is mediocre?

I didn't say we suck.

I said we are exactly where we were two years ago, losing in the Division playoff round.

I guess you could say there's progress in that we at least did it on the road this year.

Giving Garrett the ax would be a monumental mistake. If anything, I'd like to see him replace Wade at the top. There are no good head coaching prospects out there, unless you want to throw Gruden into the mix.

Great idea... with Garrett calling the offense we only scored 3 points... we allowed 6 sacks.

I would prefer to keep Wade and let him get his own OC. We also need a new o-line coach.

Then Houck should go because his unit is the one that failed.

Look. I'm one of the biggest haters of Wade on this board. I blame Wade for one thing. Having an over aggressive defense.

Not because I think it was wrong initially, but because he didn't back off after they got burned.

As for the oline issues. Don't blame Wade or Houck. It was neither of their faults. Adams got injured. All those Adams haters should stop and think what an ******* I am for wanting him gone. He can stop Jared Allan, Witten and Free cannot. The other side which got really exposed was Colombo. The man has lost a step from last year and it didn't help that he is coming back from a broken leg. Problem was, you couldn't replace him with Free with Adams out of the game. The Cowboys were absolutely screwed the second Flo went down. PERIOD.

The offense couldn't do **** because the oline was FUBAR. Plain and simple and there wasn't **** you could do about it.

Wade's only real fault, was not backing off the aggressiveness. I wanted several time to punch Wade in the head when I saw Farve break containment, and all the linebackers and safeties run up to stop him instead of playing the ****ing receivers in the field. Instead, 2-4 cover guys run up and he just plays pitch and catch over their heads or the the EXTREME over pursuit.

Big ****ing Deal.

Seriously. Winning a Wild Card game against a flawed Eagles team we happen to match up pretty well against is not "progress." We still didn't take the next step beyond where we got in 2007.

agree with Cajun (for the first time in forever) - it will be Wade gone. Over and over this is Wade's MO as a HC. He just isn't a guy who can close. He did a great job with the D, but really that is about him being an awesome coordinator. We have to go in another direction.

How much can we really read into the 'progress' stuff though? Outside of last year's disastrous run where we relied on a handful of locker-room-splitting players, we've made the second round in the other two years.

Yeah, no marked improvement in not advancing farther this year, but how many teams in today's NFL steadily improve year to year on their way to an eventual Super Bowl title like the Cowboys did in the 90s?

Not the Giants, Steelers, Patriots ... who? You know what I mean?

Since Holmgren and Cowher are off the table i cannot fathom the firing of Wade Phillips, but i can see Norv Turner getting the axe in San Diego and coming to Dallas to replace Garrett.

Is that the new Cowboys rally cry? Win a playoff game? Not good enough for this fan. I'm glad we had another game but not satisfied in the least. Not in today's league.

in the NFL teams can't take baby steps. You baby step and all of a sudden your core is really ****ing old. We've been just right at the cusp for too long. Gotta change something.
