A head is gonna roll at Valley Ranch tomorrow

let's bring back Jimmy Johnson!!

Yeah, as if anyone is calling for that.

Rex Ryan can come in during his first year and with a rookie QB win two playoff games and make it to the conference championship game.

Wade? Hey we're just thrilled he got his first ever postseason win and we finally won a playoff game in 13 years. Of course the season then immediately ended again with another blowout loss.

Yep, sign him up longterm. He's a winner.

Chuck Cecil! Super Bowl!

wait

do you have a suggestion?[probably not]

In actuality this is the best we can have for coaches until Jerry passes the torch. It's very unfortunate but it's the truth.

I def. think someone will be the scapegoat here and I agree with most it wont be wade or garrett

Rex won't make it past next week, But he made until next week. Phillips is now 1-5 in the playoffs.

No more scapegoats, scapegoats were so last year.

It's more like Jerry doesn't like to admit failure publicly, until he's desperate and at the bottom of the barrel. Like after 3 straight 5-11 seasons.

Although 34-3 is getting pretty close to desperation....

That too.

He took back full control once BP left and handpicked the OC and then the HC and then several other assistants.

I'm sure if he didn't change things up after a 44-6 drubbing that kept us out of the playoffs, then he's not going to admit failure in his hire after finally winning a wildcard game in 13 years. If 44-6 didn't cause changes then 34-3 sure won't.

Now there are bright spots with this team, both in personnel and in finally getting the "December slump" and playoff drought over with. But the problem is I'm afraid we're going to waste what talent we have by continuing down a path with Wade that likely isn't going to lead to anything. He's like a poor man's Schottenheimer.

That is the way it seems right now, hopefully Jerry reaches enlightenment over night....

I'd say he loses next week. But getting this far in his first year and with a rookie QB is quite a feat. Like you said, Wade is 1-5 in his entire career.

I know I'm going to get slammed for saying this, but I seriously hope this is the case. I think it would be supremely foolish to make huge coaching changes right now. It would set us back another season or four from possibly getting to the SB, and I don't think it's warranted. It was a bad game, to be sure, but it was preceded by some really terrific ones.

Alright, commence throwing rotten produce. *ducks*

The Bucs fired Tony Dungy after he came up short one too many times. The following season John Gruden won the Super Bowl in Tampa. So I don't know that changing coaches necessarily means setting the team back another season. The one exception is Monty Kiffin stuck around and retained the same defense.

Garrett gone -

I really think everyone needs to go...not a reflex either...the team has underachieved every year.

........or maybe get really drunk and fire Wade, Garrett, everyone in a manic panic ego fit like he did with Jimmy.

Then Houck should go because his unit is the one that failed.

He is the only one that deserves to be fired. Garrett called a fine game, the O-line botched fumble killed it, the other fumbles killed the other plays.

Defense was great, except for the turnovers generating points.

???

That naked pitch (or whatever the term for that play) to Barber was absolute stupidity. That play usually requires the back to beat one unblocked defender on the outside.

When is the last time Barber beat anyone to the corner (or broke a real tackle for that matter)? Garrett called a horrible game. It fit right in with Wade's spineless coaching and the listless play of our OL.

We shall see. And I'm not thrilled with Garrett as HC in waiting, but if he is going to be the next guy, then I say just do it. No sense in having Wade as DC with the HC title with Garrett waiting over his shoulder, all the while we aren't going to make a serious run unless the stars and planets align.

And despite who the coach is, there's something to be said about having a coach with full control over his staff and the face of the franchise and the one the buck stops with, at least in regards to the players and assistants. But in Dallas, that person is Jerry. And I doubt after all these years he'll just give up that power again. At least not unless, like Double Trouble said, and we have multiple losing seasons and he gets desperate again.

Now it could be this loss changes things for him and he does something. But I doubt he'll admit failure this soon.

So being one of the last 8 teams playing is mediocre?

Top 25%, not excellent. Not medicore. Good, this team and franchise is or should be better than good.

They had an 80 year old QB, you can't match that experience I call shenanigans.

What game were you watching? Garrett made numerous errors. Defensive pass rush was utterly pathetic.
