The rule about rumors is don't post false ones.

Was the Roy Williams "rumor" false or true? After I posted this I also found an article that mentioned it.

Does the Tampa Tribune article make this rumor false or true?


Why did I post this? Because I've made no secret of the fact I'd like us to sign Chris Simms. Notice I didn't add anything about him going to sign here. I didn't find wild and speculative ways to get him in Dallas.

That's the difference. The kinds of rumors we don't want are where people have an agenda and go to other forums to find a storyline and they post it as fact. That's why yardbarker is such a crap site. Their entire content is not news driven, it's Internet forum driven.

Simms being released isn't really news. He has been asking for it forever.

We don't need a Simms! He is junk. He has never won anything and can't even start for the Buc's! Where has he ever played and succeeded? He quit on his team over a ruptured spleen.

We need a guy like Brady or Manning backing up Romo. Maybe Carson Palmer. We should give them a 90 million dollar gauranteed signing bonus just to come here and look good with a clipboard. Insurance incase Romo gets the clap or something. Spend, Spend, Spend. It's only Jerruh's money. It ain't like it real money. And screw the salary cap. We can ask everyone to renegotiate so we can have these guys.
