As I am sure you knew before you decided to sound your little tonka drum, I have enjoyed a middle of the road perspective this year. It has been a wonderful place from which to enjoy my Boys and it never leaves me thinking we're bigger/better/bolder than any other team. Different strokes there drummer boy.
Actually, Bleu, I meant to tweak some of the other gloom and doomers, so I kinda owe you an apology... but my point stands, there's little reason not to be rather confident going into this game; we handled them once before, at their place... most important, we did a pretty good job on that "explosive" offense that you were talking about...
And now, that explosive offense has a bit of a problem on its hand, a backup center going up against our Pro Bowl nose tackle... this will not make them more effective offensively...
Gotta love when someone unearths a day old thread
Hey, my PC at home is on the fritz, and I was off work the last two days... this has been my first chance to get online since the game, so yeah, I'm responding to a few threads that have fallen off the first page... in fact, I had to go back ten pages to find the first unread thread...
I never knew there was a statute of limitations on responding to threads, anyway... LOL...
just to sound his wittle drum.
I see-- you can sound YOUR "wittle drum" with what you call "perspective", but I'm not allowed to offer my own...
Sorry, but I think my points are every bit as valid as yours were, indeed I think they were somewhat more valid... and I responded to your opinion with opinions, while your response seems to be lacking in substance, instead substituting what sounds suspiciously like a whiny complaint...
Never knew you were the type that couldn't deal with rebuttal...
Nice contribution to the thread. Thanks.
IMO, it had more substance than this weak response... so, do you have any reaction to the facts that I stated??
Again, while I intended to be a bit sarcastic in my response, I did not intend to be personally insulting... sorry you took it that way, but if you'll think back to the general tenor of the posts before the first Iggles games, they WERE quite similar to your initial post in this thread-- "how are we gonna handle the explosive Iggles offense??" seemed to be the general theme...
And I remarked on how similar your post was to those posts... again, my intent was more to mock the gloom and doomers, but I didn't mean to lump you in with them...
So courage, Camille, I think the Boys have a pretty fair chance of beating the Iggles, mostly because I honestly believe they're the better team...
