I'm just going to go out on a limb and say this....

Roy didn't look 100% to me. Roy should have made a couple of catches that he dropped; but likewise; Romo missed Roy when he had him too.

Clearly, they aren't on the same page yet. Yes, that is surprising.

But with Austin producing like he has been, why is this a problem? Austin is killing people the last 2 weeks; he should be getting the balls. Is anyone bemoaning the fact that there are quite a few TEs killing Witten stat wise despite Witten being paid more (paging, Celek from Philly, for example.)?

No. Why? Because no one will care what Witten does if Austin keeps producing like he has been the past 2 weeks.

I'll start panicking when teams lock in to Austin and Roy doesn't produce. Until then, I'll be glad Romo is going to the hot hand.

Obviously what I was trying to explain to Bob "ESPN Countdown Crew" Sacamano, but you did it better than me. Great post.

I think its getting to be pretty obvious that Tony throws to the players that he trusts, he doesnt trust Roy and his hideous drops today show why.

Roy is a total bust, Im ready to run him off the team.

Stop with the touchy feely stuff with Roy. He has been here a year and shown little to nothing. Whats next his asthma acting up?

Percy Harvin or Hakeem Nicks would've looked good with a star on their helmets. Most likely, though, it would've been someone like DL Peria Jerry.

DL Jerry coupled with WR Mike Wallace in the 3rd wouldn't have been a bad haul.

Cute, but I'm not even caucasian. I did find a picture of you though, complete with neanderthal-esque neck-hair.

Right. So because I'm not going to rip Roy to shreds, I'm touchy feely with him.

Gotcha.

Ok. Romo sucks. Roy sucks. Barber sucks. Witten sucks (celek is waaaaaaaaaaay better). Ware sucks (Antwan Odom who is on IR has more sacks than him). Ratliff sucks. etc. we won't win 6 games this year.

There.

Now I am an anti-homer, anti-touchy feely Cowboys fan.

We're not disputing this is a HUGE win. We're talking about Roy's individual play and his multiple drops. Everyone else played almost a flawless game. I'm very excited about this win as many are on this board.

:hammer:

Now that the win is in the books we can continue our ridiculous debate on that piece of garbage named RW11. Great win today by the Boys. No thanks to the Pro Bowl blocker...

I don't know, but I know I can be disappointed with fans openly disregarding a big win and shamelessly bashing a single player on the team for personal agenda.

And rightly so, I am disappointed.

On second thought, you'd fit in very well at ESPN.

:violin:

The Cowboys manned up big time today. RW11 remains an overpaid, disgraceful, bad end of a lopsided trade.

How do you deduce that I support the move made by any means?

Go do some research and you'll find that I would have rather waited until the off-season and signed TJ Houshmandzadeh as a free agent. (yes, the spelling is correct.)

Of course, if one disagrees with you they must be completely on the other side of your spectrum, which is typical for people with absolutist arguments.

Furthermore, the fact that this thread was started before today is completely irrelevant. The issue that I am taking right now is the continued bashing of one individual on a team of players despite an overall excellent effort by the aforementioned TEAM resulting in a win over an accomplished Atlanta Falcons opponent.

But you can't see left and right with your blinders on.

Jerry was looking for owens replacement. He got it. He isn't any better a WR for the Boys as owens is for Buffalo.;)

Sadly, Jethro took a whooping on this trade.

Percy Harvin would look really good on this team

him and Austin would be eating teams for breakfast

damn

My thoughts exactly... So much young talent in the draft at WR.. Yet we mortgage the house on trash. GG Jerry.

Imagine Miles and a nice young explosive WR opposite him (enter Harvin here) along with our running game. Now that would be a tough offense to beat. I gotta give it to our guys. They balled out big time today. That still doesn't change the fact that we blew it on the RW11 trade. Seeing this guy out of place on route after route after route makes me want to hurl continuously. We hat about 8 Boys fans all together in one area of the watering hole today and I didn't even have to say a word. It was made clear to me that quite a few fans aren't distracted by Roy's jock.

Tell me about it... With reports that Roy and Tony were practicing together often during the offseason something just isn't adding up.

It's either Tony's fault or all Roy's fault. I'll blame the guy with the smaller wonderlic.

Tony:37
Roy:17

The jury has deliberated. Roy is garbage.

How is Roy’s attitude in Dallas?
I’m a RW fan! He has great hands, but slow legs.

Roy’s problem in Detroit was – He was considered “the man” in Detroit - on a crap team. And when Roy didn’t get balls thrown his way – he’d give up on plays, and pout on the sidelines. That’s Roy!
