Riding home today and was listening to Grant Napier from Sacramento. He always does a rant in the beginning of his show about a topic. He is a huge Giants fan and his rant today was on Murray's press conference. He said that if Murray wanted to win a Super Bowl, he would have gone to Seattle, Patriots , or the Steelers who have won it before. Said that wait until Murray fumbles and the Eagles fans start to boo him; then he might think twice about him saying they are great fans. If Murray wanted a championship and be a top runner, he should have stayed in Dallas with that OL. He understood that he was providing for his family and had to take the best contract. It is just interesting how a staunch Giant fan view the signing and what Murray has to say about jumping ship.

Can we please stop the providing for his family nonsense? Did this guy impregnate Kansas? We're talking millions of dollars here either way.

Jesus, it's like he doesn't even know the Seahawks re-signed Lynch, the Steelers have Bell, and the Patriots would never fork money for a RB.

Most of these guys don't just take care of their immediate families but their extended families, too. And they don't do it just while they're in the league they do it long after they've retired and moved on.

It is a lot of money but not as much as you would think.

Seahawks, pats and steelers were not one of the teams interested in him.

Raiders
Jags
Eagles
Cowboys.

Those were his choices. If it was just money and only money... He would have went with the team who. Offered him the most... The Raiders.

I do T have a problem with the rest of the guys rant.

LOL. Ridiculous. Reminds me of the Patrick Ewing quote "Yeah, we make a lot of money, but we spend a lot of money too."

After witnessing what Tony Dorsett is going through....... I have a whole new outlook on players playing for championships. You have to look out for yourself and your family because these fans, coaches, owned and gms won't.

Good point.

Hey Latrell Sprewell once turned down $14.6 million dollar offer because he had a "family to feed"....

There is no loyalty in this league, whether it's in the FO or from the players. The FO will trade a player in an instant or cut a player to save money on a contract, so players will leave if they can get a much better deal elsewhere. It is what it is. Obviously Murray left for the money and I don't blame him. RB is a grueling position and has been one that has been underpaid now, so if he got offered a monster contract, he'd be an idiot not to take it. Sucks that he went to Philly, but they were willing to pay up and we weren't.

Yeah I didn't get the best chance to win a Super Bowl crap either. The Eagles are not winning any Super Bowl with Bradford/Sanchez as QBs. He was acting like he is the final piece for that team. I can get DWare saying that when he left to go to the Broncos or Revis going to the Pats but Murray was so off with that statement.

The steelers are always a good team but let's not take it too far and say they won their last to superbowls lol.
