I think this team's greatest need is at LB.
If I'm the Dallas GM and I get to craft my (mostly realistic) dream scenario...
FA:
1> Kevin Barry (OT)
2> Ryan Longwell (K)
Draft:
1> Elvis Dumervil (OLB)
2> Max Jean-Gilles (OG)
3> Anthony Smith (FS)
5> Marques Hagans (WR/KR)
6> Justin Holland (QB)
Why?
Kevin Barry is a young, good OT. We went for Rivera last offseason instead Wahl. Lets not make the same mistake again.
Ryan Longwell has been nearly as good as Vanderjagt and Vinetieri (while kicking in Green Bay). He can be a Pro Bowler kicking in the cozy confines of Texas Stadium.
Dumervil is a beast, plain and simple. At 6-0 and 265, he has freakishly long arms and a killer first step. He has all the measureables, but his production speaks for itself. This season from his DE position: 63 tackles (second on the tea, 23 for a loss), 20 sacks, *11* forced fumbles, an interception and was tied for first on the team in pass breakups. He can do it all and would be a pure hell-raiser opposite Mister Ware.
Max Jean-Gilles is a massive road-grader of an offensive lineman. He's a mauler on running plays and is just too big for pass rushers to get around. He's an effective pulling blocker in the Georgia offense, too. He may not be there in the middle of the second round.
I don't know much about Anthony Smith first-hand, but a lot of people like him a lot and at 6-1 and 194, he has good size. He was third on the team in tackles with 71 and second in the nation in picks with 6. He had 3 sacks, forced 2 fumbles and recovered 3. Sounds like a playmaker to me.
Morques Hagans played QB for Virginia the past two seasons but in his sophomore season was probably the best receiver catching passes from Matt Schaub. He's undoubtedly the most explosive player on the Virginia team. He'd be a superb slot receiver and would solve our punt return problems. He reminds me a lot of Antwan Randle El.
Holland has a huge arm and throws with accuracy, and at 6-3 he has NFL size. This is a guy with all the tools, who can sit behind Bledsoe for a year or two and then start in Dallas for years to come.
