With Davis, Crab, Boldin, Johnson how is Dallas going to be able to stop SF? Running game will be crucial in keeping them off the field. Hopefully front 4 can get pressure and stop run. Getting pressure on Kaepernick will be crucial. Our corners can't defend 1 on 1 against that size for long. Expect to see a lot of bend don't break.

I was saying on another thread that this is the type of game the Cowboys typically win...the opener against someone they are not supposed to beat. On the Monday following, Super Bowl talks will begin. And then they'll turn around and lose embarrassingly to the Titans and on the Monday following that game the team tank talks will begin.

You do realize with all of those weapons, Colin is still a very UNDER AVERAGE passer?

The keys to winning this game regardless are to limit his scrambling, and to run the ball.

Murray will go off on them, they have an aging DL and Bowman will be out. I think we surprise people and out physical the niners in our own stadium.

Uh, the worst defense last year, and now this years d (with or without Lee), I doubt had the man power to stop ANY offense in the NFL, much less San Fran.

What was the game plan against the Lions last year? Let's not use that one.

We usually open up fairly well.

I think it'll be a great game.

It's later in the year where our lack of depth catches up to us that we falter.
Also every year for the several years,by the end of the year, our Qb is usually battered to a pulp. Here's to hoping this years line keeps him in semi decent shape late in year for a change.

Not afraid of SF, we either beat them or they beat us. Seattle, on the other hand, seems like the only unwinnable game to me. Dallas usually plays well on opening night and we are at home.

If the offense is improved(like we speculate), then just control the tempo and score often.

Of course, this all hinges on the teams overall health going into that game. We could lose a few more players before then, they can as well.

Our ability to stop the 49er offense will have more to do with our own offense than anything else. Just pray that Dallas can somehow sustain drives and put points on the board. You know, just like every week.

Lol that we have a chance competing against SF. If we could swap coaches with them we might have a chance.

Dallas beat SF without Dez a injured Austin, and Romo who had a lung issue at halftime. Oh and had no running game what so ever. And yes Dallas beat them in OT with Jesse Holly of all people.

Were going to find out if all the first round picks on offense can play ball control and keep their offense off the field.

San Fran isn't a explosive team. We'll be in the ball game the entire time but the pass defense will break in the 4th quarter.

Funny I was just in Aruba for my honeymoon and met a frisco fan. He said he's not confident in their offense whatsoever. Hates kapernick and thinks he's not a great qb.:D
