A problem without a solution is

We are here with the parts accumulated for better or worse.
Dear god it's only the first game of the 2018 season

While I agree it's only the first game, what we're not being told is that our coaching staff is developing Dak on the fly. It's hard enough to learn the position without being thrown into the fire. This is his season to show he can be the guy, or not.

2016 showed he knows how to lead. 2017 he was asked to do more than lead. He was fine until adversity came along. Still, a franchise QB has to be able to overcome obstacles and continue to move the offense.

2018, while not under ideal circumstances, is his year to show his intangibles and talents are up to the task. Unfair or not, he's being pushed harder because of his 2016 success. Hopefully, he learns from the Carolina game and improves on the areas where he failed or he'll just have a nice career as a backup.

You wouldn't from the reaction of many fans, but we only lost to Panthers by 8 points and it only one game, 15 games left in the season. Coaches need to do whatever to get the confidence of this offense back on track. Up tempo, spreads, attack and stop letting defenses dictate your games plan. Maybe this is just me but you get the impression players are not playing loose out there ( maybe this is where they miss Dez). Don't sense a body language of swagger.....

Any talk of throwing in the towel or tanking after the first game of the season ridiculous. Pretty sure 110% of players and coaches would agree. Good lord, how to take a poster with this mindset serious?
Damn, imagine having this kind of person as your brother's keeper in an ally fight....:lmao:
They would join the opposistion rather than fight.

And fans are tasked with coming up with solutions because the front office apparently can’t.

The fans were asked because FO doesn't respond and honestly Aviano, your solutions REALLY matter. Clearly we're in the "Hunt for Red October" ;)

First of all, Dez burnt his bridge about one day after release. Second, I cannot imagine Dez being a really happy team mate and locker room calming influence if he was still on the team. I may be wrong, Dez being on the team still may be the answer. I do think we miss Witt. Dez? Nah, I don't think he's anyones solution or he would be playing. I may wrong.

So your solution is to stick with Dak for 16 games and work with him. That would be my choice too. Hopefully the O-line play improves and the chemistry between he and the WR\s improve. I tend to be overly optimistic tho

Oh I agree about Dez and I'm saying he should be here. Just his confidence and spirit on the sideline. To be honest, I'm not saying we stick with Dak for 15 games if he doesn't improve. I'm saying let get through the next couple games going all out to get a W and get the season back on track. If Dak we do that in spite of Dak's poor play, then go out find the best avail QB vet out there and bring him as a possible replacement if we need to sit Dak and save the season. Copper Rush is not the answer. Notice my focus is THIS season, not the draft (tanking) or 2019.

Bottom line, I think this team can go as far as the QB position takes it........

Well Dak has got to play better because every team is going to play us the same way until he proves he can make the throw. He looks like a deer in headlights.

Of course, if it ain't broke why fix it. What is this preventative maintenance BS
What I mean is there are hints of cracks and the FO waits until it's a total breakdown.

They kept telling us Romo had 5 more years. Wouldn't even look for a replacement until it was too late. Same with Smith. He's never going to be the same. Once you start getting back problems it's never the same.

Not suggesting we tank at all. Am suggesting that Cooper White bush or some couch sitting QB will lead to 2015... 4-12. We may get there anyway but I never once suggested tanking.

Now there is a solution a vet QB. It's a solution. We like solutions

Yap, while not ideal but a champion meets his contest and finds a way to win. In my opinion thats right now this Sunday's game.
After two years and facing big odds I think Dak must come out and show he can spot the open target and release the damn ball or
run at select plays. It's on him. I believe his a winner and I'm calling him to prove it.

Dak just has to hit his open receivers. That's on him. He has to get over the fear of being sacked.

JJ said that.... shame on you for believing a word he says lol

Reasonable solution
Honestly, looking back at our off season and at the moves we made and didn't make, if the FO wasn't thinking about tanking the season. We cut a lot of salary and really looked to position ourselves for next off season and prepared to take the lumps this season. Of course, they couldn't come out and say that, they went with we don't need above average WRs or TEs that have actually caught at least 10 passes in the NFL, we don't need a address the S or 1tech position, we can start an under sized LG that everyone could tell needs times to develop before throwing him to the wolves. Our young QB that was struggling the last half of the season doesn't need a bonafide weapon WR or solid security blanket TE? That Tavon was a secret weapon that was going to get a ton of touches and help take some heat of Zeke and in our first game get him 1 touch and one of the best RBs in the NFL only 15 touches.

Honestly, what other NFL team would give only 15 carries to a top 3-4 RB and our other game breaker in Tavon, 1 touch? If any other NFL team did that, I would think that they're either trying to tank the season or they're trying to trade the RB and not get him hurt or that they're both hurt and didn't list in the injury report. It just doesn't make any sense. If the Giants only give Barkley 15 carries and OBJ 1 touch next week, I'd be happy.
