IDK about that with Dak, but 100% agree with Bradyits not either/or. its both. its the combination. give Moore, brady and he will look better. give Dak Shanhan and he will look better.

Have you considered though that maybe KM is getting more out of Dak then another OC might be able to? This thread has several people pointing out how simple the offense already is. Maybe that's by design because of the limitation of the QB, not the OC. How much more can he dumb it down for Dak? Maybe this is as good as he can be?why is everyone arguing that Dak is not elite, seems like every video is trying to prove Dak is not elite. everyone knows he is not Elite. I don't get the argument at this point, what are we trying to prove...
. so to combat that you need better offensive scheming and we have a average OC, who does good against undermanned defenses, but against better teams he gets owned 95% of the time. he is just not good enough to be able to make a difference. Compare that to Shanahan, simplified offense. run the ball effectively, and put his QB in position to succeed. compare that to Reid, he has a mahomes, and you get an Elite offense.
Moore + Dak is not a good combination.
My initial post said loss was 75% Dak 25%KM?Can't argue or dispute Dak's play.....just wondering why you can't place ANY culpability on our OC too? Any? You didn't see how Niner's coverages limited effectiveness, definitely compounded by Dak's decisions, and further compounded by KMoore's ineffective scheme, including route trees?
This really is it. It’s the combination of Moore and Dak. Regardless of the Cowboys offensive rankings the last few years, the best thing for each of these guys is probably new blood and new ideas.Bottomline: late throws, poor reads, and terrible, predictable, scheming by Moore
No problem.......but just 25% on KM? The play calling isn't giving Dak much "safety", as the other options from such would leave options of take off and run for yardage as best as possible, take a sack, sling the ball out of bounds, or eventually get hurt. Teams know our plays and scheme.....but no excuse for Dak to sling it anyway. My initial post said loss was 75% Dak 25%KM?
This is not true. I pay monthly for the NFL All-22, and I've seen way more issues with the receivers not getting separation, poor/lazy routes being ran, terrible passing concepts and play designs, etc all season long. Heck, Kurt Warner weekly has said the same thing over and over. Even other professional breakdown groups have consistently ranked the Cowboys receiving group as the worst (32nd) out of all 32 teams in terms of separation on the playing field.Good breakdown but if you watched the whole season you'd know why they've had to resort to vertical routes.
Dak is consistently late on crossing routes. At least 50% of his crossing throws are behind the receivers, sometimes so much behind they're picks. Curl routes, the receiver is coming directly back at the QB, easiest throw to complete and no difficult reads. At the end of the day it's all they had. I said the other day, if you watch the all22 there are always open receivers, either Dak doesn’t see them, or just will not make the throw.
Yep KM could have done better, but this loss was
DAK 75%
KM 25%
Got to make a change.
And zekeBottomline: late throws, poor reads, and terrible, predictable, scheming by Moore
Nothing on kicker, pollard injury, zeke, defense caving in 4th and dropping easy picks?Good breakdown but if you watched the whole season you'd know why they've had to resort to vertical routes.

JJ doesn't have the BALLS to unload Prescot! If you polled every Cowboy in the dressing room, Dakota" WENTZ 2.0" Prescot would have been at the top of everyone's list for the reason they lost to the 9ers and if he wasn't on a player's list then that one needs to go too!Good breakdown but if you watched the whole season you'd know why they've had to resort to vertical routes.

Basically the entire league has figured out Dak and Moores simplified scheme.Good breakdown but if you watched the whole season you'd know why they've had to resort to vertical routes.

He's never been the same since losing Demarco Murray as his rb.Think what folks are trying to figure out is if it is Moore or Dak. Personally I think it's more Dak than Moore and the reason I say that is because of his rookie season. 7 years in Dak has never come close to besting his rookie season. What was so special about it? He rarely thew picks managed the game and the ball was taken out of his hands. Subsequent seasons he was asked to shoulder the load more and the result has been a slow steady decline into below average QB play against decent teams.
niners Didn’t have anything figured out when pollard was in there. With zeke at RB how tough could it be To stop?Basically the entire league has figured out Dak and Moores simplified scheme.
Its only going to get worse unless major changes are made on offense, Moore is too smart to dial it down enough.
Sounds crazy I know, but that is what is taking place, Moore keeps trying to step up the offense and Daks reads, but keeps butting his head against the wall when Dak continually fails to progress.
Dak is what he is at this point and unable to elevate his game for his own personal limitations.
How does zekes presence factor into our offenses abilities?IDK about that with Dak, but 100% agree with Brady
Brady just lost to dak and badlyIDK about that with Dak, but 100% agree with Brady
Sure it can be both - but I suspect that it's a larger problem with Dak's shortcomings and crafting an offense around it vs Kellen Moores short comings as an OC.One drives the other.its not either/or. its both. its the combination. give Moore, brady and he will look better. give Dak Shanhan and he will look better.
You mean he hasn't been the same since Zeke's decline and losing Fredbeard? He's never been the same since losing Demarco Murray as his rb.
Dak NEVER had Demarco Murray. He's never been the same since losing Demarco Murray as his rb.
Im not downplaying, Pollard loss in any way.niners Didn’t have anything figured out when pollard was in there. With zeke at RB how tough could it be To stop?
That too. The line has never been the same since losing Ronald Leary either. You mean he hasn't been the same since Zeke's decline and losing Fredbeard?
