I am like Curious George and wish for a show of hands on this: Don't be shy or coy or nuthing.


1. Some of us retain hopes for the playoffs (even the Super Bowl)
2. Other rough and clearer headed mens are still hoping for wins . . . but if not, thinking . . . DRAFT!

How manys mens here are thinking one of either? How many are thinking about Joely Richardson (I saw her first!) or a free cruise like the man said in the phone voicemail at the rec center?

I ax because we really really needs a QB to groom and as RB to carry us the way Murray did last year. A durable, Emmitt-like banger.

Weeden has been disappointing and the injuries have sucked but I'm not giving up. If Cassel can just get a few throws to loosen up the Giants defense and get that running game going, They win the game. I know I'm being a homer but there finally getting the defense back to full health and that defense is something to get excited about. The O-Line has to get back to form and maybe they won't. Maybe their overrated but I still think they get back to form. I just can't give up yet because I still think they have too many good players to not be in the mix

Yes! I don't believe there is quit in this team and starting Cassell should give the team hope. They appeared defeated with Weeden on the field.

The Bucs and Dolphins are very beatable. I'm not sold on Philly yet and the Giants just don't look as good as they are getting credit for being. All that being said, I think two or three wins is certainly possible, and may be enough to keep the Cowboys in this thing.

It's still an early season guys. There's a lot more football remaing. I still believe we get healthy and make the playoffs.

Should never pick for #2 because just because you suck, doesn't mean that you will pick the right guys with a draft pick....see Lions...

I agree, playoffs or not, we should always strive to win games no matter where it places us in the draft. Losers lose year after year with great draft picks and guess what - they still losers.

As far as #1 goes, jury for me is still out on whether or not playoffs is a possibility. Need more time. Just need to make the playoffs then this teams destiny is up to them.

I go back and forth. One post I'm predicting a losing season, the next I am saying, if Cassell, and Hardy looks awesome, with Dez and Gregory back....if, we, then....maybe get hot down the stretch?

I have not lost all hope just yet. But if we get beat by both the Giants and Eagles.........and just win one game against the Bucs, and the Giants have all but wrapped it up..... maybe we sit romo for a few more games, and let this season play out. Get that RB in the draft next year. Our own Gurley..... Or maybe Romos future replacement.....
