I'm against doing anything at TE in the draft before the 4th round at the earliest. I think it's counter-productive to what the team is doing otherwise in 2019. If you draft a player in the second or third round, he's not playing, or certainly not playing a significant role. This team simply doesn't do that, even when they had a Hall of Famer in Witten. The young guys don't play or contribute quickly. And if he isn't, you may as well just roll with Jarwin and Schultz that you already have in place. And to me that doesn't make sense for a team trying to go further while at a coaching crossroads on top of that. A second round TE will be little to no factor in a critical 2019 year.
