I may be in the minority, but I consider the loss of Columbo and Jenkins to be far bigger than losing the game. I will be watching for news of them all week and wondering. We had been sort of blessed with no big injuries and just like that, two in one game. That hurts.

Look, I said last week we would lose again and there wouldn't be any need to over react. It still holds true. It is hard in the NFL to win back to back game on the road in big situations. On the positive side (yes, there is one) the Eagles also lost so we maintain our lead in the Division. That is the big picture at this point.

Turnovers and time of possession. We lost these key indicator stats. Three turnovers to zero and a nearly 12 minute deficit in the Offense holding the ball. You can't win in the NFL with those kinds of stats unless you get stupid lucky. When you add double digit penalties to the mix, you might as well look to next week's games because this week is gonna suck.

It sucks to lose. No one who is a fan likes it. But if we had to lose one of these two games, I will choose this one over the Eagles to lose every day of the week and every year.

It is hard to come up with anything positive from this game. About the only thing I can say positive is that DeMarcus Ware got two more sacks and is in top form going into the stretch run. We're going to need him.

I've grown accustomed to the over reactions to losses. I don't know whether that is good or bad. This week there are reasons to be upset because for the first time all year the team truly did not do anything that put them in position to win the game.

Like I said, we're still atop the NFC East. The big picture should still outweigh a bad week, but it won't.

We layed an egg today.

Whatever.

We're still in control over our own destiny.

Here is my quick beef with all this, why is it when one of our Oline men go down, we are hurt for the season, when someone else loses an Oline men OUR GUYS STILL CAN'T GET TO THE QB.

Why is it we hate to sack and we hate to get pressure on 3rd and Long. This is still a franchise weakness and I blame all the lesser coaches who should be fired after today.

This is losing Kosier all over again, once we lose a O man we are screwed and yet i dont see it on any other team.

Why is it when GB's Oline left for a few series we werent exploiting it? Why do we play soft when we should be taking advantage when things swing our way?

i agree with the injuries being important but the sentence i highlighted is the
main reason i am mad about this loss.

Team could not regain intensity after Philly game, classic trap game. Ten penalties, and probably an average of about eight, will ultimately kill this team down the road. Not good enough to continually shoot themselves in the foot and win.

We wasted a very good defensive performance. My biggest concern, other than the injury to Colombo, is the fact that the offense was completely stoned and now there is evidence on tape on how to do it. Its up to Garrett to adust. I've been a Garrett supporter, but the lack of rushes in a 3-0 game until the 4th quarter is stupid.

Not that it matters, because the Cowboys did nothing to deserve winning this game, but Jeff Triplett and his crew should never officiate another NFL game. Absolutely horrendous.

DeMarcus should have had two more but they got called for holding both times.

I do too. But the sig originally was intended just to compare Roy and Terrell.

Then Austin exploded; and I included him. The only reason Crayton isn't in it is to keep the sig smaller.

Dallas had been pretty hot. They come in for their second straight road game, after an emotional win last week, against a team that typically has a strong home field advantage and has their backs against the wall.

It wasn't a reach for this Dallas team to look flat today.

Its going to happen in a long season.

I fully believe this team will beat itself before it lets another team do it. I dont know why they enjoy beating themselves, but they find ways to do it.

was anyone else irked when the ref's tried to give GB another challenge? shouldnt that have been stopped when the flag came out?

My simple, perhaps unhelpful answer? The Cowboys are simply not good at replacing injured players. I don't think that's a knee-jerk reaction, either. As you said, other teams lose players and -- some, at least -- simply plug in new guys to take their place.

The Cowboys can lose a backup RB, a nickel corner, a left guard or a slot receiver and never be the same.

How do you correct that? Dunno.

Crayton definitely earned his check today.

Hos - I think Flozell Adams is done.

This is why i've been screaming since preseason that the offensive line coach should have been fired as well, but alas, we have to waste a good oppurtunity to realize who should be off this staff.

I agree with, i just needed to read someone else type it.

Yep. I've seen people say the Cowboys of the 90s never did that; what do you call losing twice to the Commanders in 1995? Take a closer, more critical look at those seasons -- they had plenty of games where they didn't have "it." They won some of them, lost others.

That's not an excuse or to say this team will win a Super Bowl. It's just to say this one loss does not signal the end of the season or warrant a "here we go again" mantra. Heck, it's not December yet anyway; none of this matters now, or so I've been told.

Our coaching is an inherent deficiency within our team, a deficiency which will not fix itself and a deficiency which will be our downfall every year until something drastically changes. To say that people who recognize this are overreacting is both condescending and intellectually dishonest.

Let me start by saying this...Your opening sentence, and the first sentence of your last paragraph is the beginning and ending of this thread.

Here are my Pros: Non divisional game, Philthy lost as well. The defense played well to say how much they were on the field.

Here are my Cons: Felix is not himself since his injury. Barber is not himself since his injury. Since Miles gained some attention he has virtually done nothing for 2 weeks besides 1 busted coverage play. I like miles, Miles has proven to be our number 1, but is he a legit NFL number 1, that remains to be seen. Thats our 3 loss to an inferior team.

We are okay, but we could have really put a choke hold on the NFC east with a win today, and the two games we have coming up.

I am curious what your beef with free was today?

he looked good to me.

The problem with losing columbo is that he is the leader on the line, he is the emotional guy, he is the guy that likes the fight in the trench. We lose more than just his physical ability.

Hopefully we find out that we have a player in free.
