Sorry but a lot of the most of the optimistic fans did not pick us to do this well which makes it hard to call out the media. Just proves our talent is better than it was given credit for and our coach is finally starting to learn something after three wasted seasons of OJT.

Cool thread. Love the call out. Amazing that none of these people had the spine to go against the grain.

My brother and I were both excited coming in with the addition of Melton and DLaw and with the Oline improving. We got younger and healthier and we believed we'd improve.

Never understood why the local media put so much emphasis on the loss of Ware who had been hurt the previous seasons anyway. And jason hatcher who we replaced with a younger Melton. Then we had an awesome draft. I was pumped. I'll admit I didn't think we'd be as good as we have, didn't expect Murray to do what he has. But I was never under the impression we'd be a 4 win team. We have the best QB in the division. Common sense. Bunch of idiots

You had to ruin it with the "three wasted seasons" comment didn't you. Now I can't agree.

Even the ever optimistic Jerry Jones himself seemed to think this might be a down year.

I wonder how many of those same people thought the saints would be as crappy as they have been this year as well.

I didn't pick the Cowboys to be better than the Saints, but I did pick them to be 11-5. Just goes to show you that football is extremely unpredictable, like injuries derailing the last 2 seasons.

I said 10-6/11-5 and the NFC East. Mainly Dallas had shown they could beat the teams in the NFC East going 5-1 last with the last one being without Romo in the lineup and despite the worse defense in the NFL and did not figure it would get any worse

Well, I have to at least give Hansen credit for the "Subtract 1 win" for Romo being injured prediction.
