Go get this cat NOW. At least do a zoom call with him. If we hired this guy, it would show how serious the Jones family is for real.
I love Aaron Glenn. Would love him here. But Ray you make more sense and logic than Jerry. Sadly, we don’t have a serious GM.

If I was hiring a HC, that is what I would look for. If I want a defensive coach, I would hire a good DC.

I actually really like Glenn for this specific situation, but I need to know who is OC and OL coach are.

You can just watch him on the sidelines and know he's a leader of men. His unit has actually overperformed expectations given the almost complete depletion due to injuries.

He has some strong ties to Jerry.......( Parcell, Payton and Campbell ).

Aaron Glenn: If you hire me, you’re getting a head coach not a defensive coach

One of the other spots could be the right situation for Glenn and he was asked at a press conference about the idea that defensive coaches are less successful when they become head coaches. Glenn cited Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick as alternative examples and then explained that he will not be the coach of the defense if he’s hired by one of those teams.

“I’m a coach,” Glenn said. “I just happen to be on defense. I understand the offense just as well as a number of people. If you want to hire me, you’re going to hire a coach. You’re not gonna hire a defensive coach. I’m gonna talk to the offense just as much as I’m gonna talk to the defense.”

He's probably the Saint's top target.......but if all things are equal, would probably choose the Cowboys first.

Uh, no. We're getting a puppet while Jerry is the real coach. Sheesh, Glenn, you won't even get to name your own staff, and if Jerry resigns Zeke yet again, then you will have no choice but to give him carries.

the fit in Dallas appears to be the best place for him to land when one takes a step back and looks at his options. Question is, how serious are the Joneses? Do we wanna win meaningful games?
The key with a defensive minded HC is having the right OC.

Can’t yet must wait !
did they not change the rule? Unless I am not mistaken, GMs can interview and hire coaches to an upgraded position even if they are in playoffs as long as it doesn't interfere with their current team. If so, they shouldn't wait to interview/hire either Glenn or Ben Johnson.

If Jerry hires Aaron Glenn and allows him to pick his entire staff, I’m going to give Jerry a little bit of leeway toward just maybe he is thinking about doing the right thing by the fans.

Then actually sign a decent FA or two in MARCH, not July, then maybe I can find it within myself to turn my thoughts around.

Not holding breath.

It will be like that with anyone Jerruh hires
