Not buying "suicide" for one second...this was an inside job/payback...plain and simple.

Wouldn't shock me if cops were involved as well. Keep hearing the door to his cell was jammed from the inside. Someone had access to that...that's for sure.

I think you should definitely contact authorities with all your evidence.

ESPN was going on this morning just after 6am central about how he was trying to leave the thug life behind and get his life together. They were crying about him and saying how sad this was.

I think what is sad is the people who are dead because of this guy. Where are the tears for them. I do not understand this machismo about carrying a gun and thinking this is the wild west.

In the end he gets what he deserves. Unfortunately for the 1 to 3 people that are not here because of him, they will never get justice.

Yup.

And if Johnny Manziel gets drunk at a night club, ESPN will be all up in arms about it.

Insane double standard at its finest.

Yeah, I don't see some guards taking a serious risk like that just to out an inmate. I just wonder why he did it now..I'm sure they have a psychiatrist available, be interesting if a more detailed report comes out

I have a lot of friends that work in or have worked as prison guards in places such as Sing Sing and Attica. They aren't risking their jobs for a piece of crap like Hernandez.

If prison guards are going to mistreat a prisoner, they'll rough him up and make sure he doesn't have a court appearance so the wounds are on full display in the public. I would imagine they may have taken their time to allow Hernandez to hang himself, but a lot of paperwork goes into the entire ordeal and then an investigation is done. More trouble than what it's worth for them.

Anybody who think it's a setup is a moron.

He was a coward that blew millions of dollars to play football and was sentenced to life in prison.

Actually, despite being a scumbag, he earned his money. I have no problem with it going to his family especially his child, who did not choose to be his daughter.

Maybe when she gets older, she won't want the money. Maybe she will use it for some charitable things. Should be her choice, I am fine with it either way.

so you don't think Hernandez's victims familys should get any of it?

Wasnt he from a middle class family too

He was a Miami Hurricane during the period where pretty much every player that came out of there and into the NFL were players of extremely low character. So where did he come from? The U ie, trash central.

People like aaron hernandez and steve stephens taking their own life bothers me. In a way i feel they deserved tooth for a tooth so to speak. They were able to make the decision to end their own life but What about the ppl they killed?

I agree he earned the money...on the other hand, if the victim's family had won a judgement in civil court, then they would have earned it as well in the eyes of the court(and mine). They won't have that chance now though since any evidence presented at trial will now not be allowed in civil proceedings...which is ludicrous.

The statement was about whether or not his family should get any, what you are asking is a different question, and I made no comment about it.

A point not lost on me. They should be able to sue, but i don't think they can as you stated, which is part of why I made my comment.

Wonder if they can get any money through a civil suit, since it's reported he's basically not guilty of the crime since its under appeal. Some weird law
