I believe he took some first team reps last week as well. I could be wrong on that. I heard them talking about that this week for sure but I've seen it reported that they're very pessimistic about his ability to play this week. Apparently he's still having lots of pain from the injury.

That said it doesn't matter if he plays or not. I think McCown should have proven that already for Cowboys fans. Even if we play Flynn this defense will give up 350+ and 3 TDs to him.

I really don't give a crap. We'll beat Green Bay with or without Rodgers at home. We are very good at home and Green Bay has just as many issues as we have. Green Bay is 6-6-1 for a reason.

Bears were 6-6 also........................how did that work out?

Rodgers himself said that he will need another scan and if he plays he will need all the reps on Friday...so if he is not listed as full participation he isn't playing.

I hope Rodgers plays and in his first series Ware blows his guy up, leveling Rodgers and re-snapping that same collarbone Nino Brown style

All poking out and stuff, Rodgers screaming like a girl. Deflating the entire Packer team as dufus Flynn trots onto the field.

And the Cowboys win in a blowout and Philly lays an egg in Minnesota as Toby G runs all over them.

Dream Scenario (for me of course)

How was your nap?.......................as soon as I read "Ware blows by his guy".................I knew it was a dream..................LOL

Like Canadian said we're at home and we're much better at home. So that's how it will work out. Also one week doesn't transfer to the next week in this league. You should know better.

Funny, this defense sure sucks from week to week................that sure hasnt changed. We have been ranked 32 virtually the whole dam year, so apparently that is transferring from week to week.

And we are much better at home because all 5 of our home wins are against sub 500 teams........the Pack with Rogers were 5-2 before he got hurt..............they are not a sub 500 team with Rogers in the lineup...........ergo, we lose.

Yes, it matters if Aaron Rodgers plays or not.

I don't even know why people keep saying "Does it even matter..". OF COURSE it matters lol. Regardless of how people feel about this team, its a home game for us and the defense hasn't been relatively bad at home. I'm not saying anyone should be optimistic or even excited. But the doom and gloom is getting old.

How many sub 500 teams did we face at home?

It's a race to say 'we're going to lose out' in different ways in every thread. That's what I read into statements like 'It doesn't matter if Aaron Rodgers plays or not,' anyway. Of *course* it matters.

I was pretty bummed after the CHI game, too. I thought we'd go in there and beat them as bad as their defense was. Normally, it takes until the Wednesday after a loss for people to come out from under their beds. This time, it's going straight through to Sunday, I'm afraid.

Good news is, though, if we win on Sunday, we'll be able to start predicting Superbowls again, so that's always nice. :)

Either the packers want to make the cowboys think rodgers is playing or he actually is playing.

I don't know why they are waiting until today to run the test. That makes me think it was pretty close last week and they wanted to wait until the last possible minute to run another test.

My guess is he gets cleared and takes the majority of reps in practice, then proceeds to light us up on sunday. That seems to be the cowboys luck. And i bet peterson does not play against the eagles. His backup Gerhart is also hurt.

Right lol? Maybe if people wouldn't build themselves up so much they probably could take a loss a little bit better. It always has to be so dramatic. We go on a 2 game win streak and guys predict Super Bowl. Soon as we lose the season is over and let's move on to the offseason who we should get.

It sucks. I know. But atleast wait until we are officially out of contention.

Your guess would be wrong on Rodgers. Peterson is questionable but you know he is going to try and play and Frazier said he's optimistic about Gerhart so it looks like you could be wrong all the way around.
