As per theredzone.org

Six teams have inquired about Cowboys' Sensabaugh
3/11/2010 5:17:41 AM | More

The Dallas Morning News reports Kevin Conner, the agent for Cowboys restricted free agent Gerald Sensabaugh, said two more teams have called to inquire about his client. That brings the total to six. No visits have been scheduled at this time.

Sensabaugh wants to return to the Cowboys but said he wants more than a one-year contract. The Cowboys have said they want the safety back but have been quiet publicly on the length of the contract.

====================================================

Just as a warning, if you're typing in theredzone.org, don't type in theredzone.com - that's an escort service

I had to explain that to my wife as she saw me trying to get to the link . . . .

Aside from the escort service, I don't see Sensy going anywhere. JJ will likely match . . . .

i like him but if dallas could upgrade at fs, i really dont see why dallas wouldnt let sensabaugh go and replace him with hamlin. they basically did the same thing last yr. both were good vs the run, but covered really good in thre flats, and both were torched down the field.

ill take a 2nd for sensabaugh and smile

I get the feeling it's more of a pressure tactic from his agent then anything.

Wake me up when he's actually being brought in for a visit. Until then it's just an agent negotiating in public.

So 6 teams are interested in Sensy, but none have scheduled a visit???

This sounds like agent BS to me, somebody would schedule a visit if this was legit. The fact is nobody is going to give up a 2nd round pick for a safety that had no interceptions this past season.

Sensabaugh gave up a big play vs Minn other than that he was not getting torched down field on the season Dallas gave up only 5 plays of 40 yards or more so getting beat down field was not an overall issue with the secondary

You have to think either the agent is fudging the numbers a little or teams are calling him to see how far apart he and the team are and if their is any chance Sensabaugh would be released. If they were really interested, they'd be setting up a visit. If teams are really calling, its to see if there is any chance to get him for nothing.

Maybe a bit of both. I don't see Dallas releasing Sensabaugh if you want him it is going to cost a 2nd

I agree. I think Sensy wants to be a Cowboy so his agent is using this as a tatic to try and get a long term deal done.

I think he wants to get paid, I don't think he's been here long enough to establish any sort of loyalty.

I don't think it's loyalty I just think he wants to be here. they were a good team last year with the arrow pointing up. a lot of guys dream about playing for Dallas. he probably became good friends with some of his teammates. stuff like that. but than again you could be right though.

He also got beat on that TD by Gates against SD. Granted he's a tough guy to cover, but he wasn't even close.

Overall he was solid though.

I'm surprised there are so many people who have issues with Sensabaugh's season last year. He played well for us coming in as a FA. We'd be smart to resign him once his market value is established, and I"m pretty sure we will.

Don't bother. It's become more and more clear the last couple of years that we have fans here who don't actually watch the games.

But why have such strong opinions if you don't actually know what you're talking about? And about a role player who came in and played well for us and wants to stay? It's a weird phenomenon of message boards that they basically invite people to be contrary about any topic, for little or no reason.

Yep. Here's the 'inquiry'; "Say. Is Sensabaugh a safety or what? Yeah? That's too bad. We're looking for a corner. Ah well............."

Sensi was one of the big reasons why we could control the better TEs we faced. He played them better then Scandrick most of the time.

The only big play he gave up was that one against Minni and that was just a play that comes around 1 time in 10 years. That was a perfect pass thrown with alot of luck. The player was never free. That was kind of a hail mary by captain ahab aka grey beard favre.

now you want to put hamlin at ss ? when the biggest criticism hamlin faced was his play against the run where he seemed to be to soft ?
