If Sensy is suck a ballhawk, how come 99% of the responses in this thread would take a 2nd for him in a heartbeat???

He did have an int on the season, he also knocked quite a few passes down. He is no Ed Reed but he is a good solid player you can count on to do the job

Sensabaugh gave up a big play vs Minn other than that he was not getting torched down field on the season Dallas gave up only 5 plays of 40 yards or more so getting beat down field was not an overall issue with the secondary

You realize that plays of over 40 yards are very rare for any team right?

Evidently not all get it. You are a Pro Bowl player or you are crap in the eyes of some of our fans. Sensabaugh did a good job in the secondary much better than we have seen is a long time. No one will confuse him for Ed Reed on the other hand he is a solid player who was a big help to this team.

All that says is that Davis and Watkins are awful. Do you have any context considering the league as a whole.

I am not trying to be a jerk I just don't know how to regard that stat without more information.

The league high was 17 given up by Miami, Det and KC. Dallas on the other hand gave up 5 the best in the NFL was 3 by NY Jets.

I'm all for looking to replace Hamlin but Sensabaugh did help this defense and the secondary I'm sorry if the only stat some people understand in INTs but there is more to playing in the secondary than how many picks did you get.

Sensabaugh is asked to do a lot more in coverage than Hamlin. Hamlin is strictly a guy you want playing everything in front of him. Sensabaugh can actually cover TEs and some wrs in man. He only had 1 interception because he was playing with a cast on his hand. I think he would have had at least 4 interceptions if not for the cast. I like the guy and don't expect a team to give up a 2nd for him but if it happened I wouldn't feel robbed because a 2nd in this draft will be a pretty darn good player in return.

Really I believe it is too. Tell me why would someone trade a 2nd round draft choice off for Sensabaugh and Aquan Boldin was traded off for a 3rd round if im not mistaken.

This sounds like agent BS to me, somebody would schedule a visit if this was legit. The fact is nobody is going to give up a 2nd round pick for a safety that had no interceptions this past season.

He had one INT this past season. He did very well for us. I would hate to lose him. He isnt asking for a monster contract just a couple of years. Give him 3 years at 2 million a year im sure hes cool. Makes a lot more sense than RW11 at 45 mil
