A couple YouTubers made videos claiming this is a rumor, but none of them cited where the rumor came from so I can only assume one of them made it up and everyone else piled on.

Tolbert was actually doing well in TC but disappeared in preseason.

Perhaps his struggles in preseason was due to wearing too many hats. Limit his role and let's see if he improves.

Cowboys will need all hands on deck today. Especially in WR corps and OL.

It doesn’t surprise me that he’s inactive. I just don’t trust Broaddus because he’s wrong so often. Of course sometimes he does get it right.
