Did nobody else see the red flags during the offseason whenever someone would be injured or there was questions about depth Dan Quinn’s responds would basically be “yeah, we got a safety that can fill in”.

We don’t even have safeties that can play the safety position.

This is stupid because LVE has been there when they've had the same problems. Their body types don't matter.

The only roster construction issue they have is a total lack of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.

How about the Eagles secondary and backers?

Why post anything from this guy? He has proven to be a clown time and time again. LBs aren't the issue, its scheme and no good 1 tech DT.
disagree. we need LBs to be able to get off the blocks in the second level and get to the RB. the LBs were getting pushed 10 yards down field. our LBs are smallish. so is our secondary. so once the RB gets passed the LOS, then they usually have long runs.

Why yall acting like we don't have two LBs on the roster better than Clark and Bell. Micah is a LB who can pass rush. We brought in Evans who is a thumper against the run. They need to let make the adjustment.

the body type matters. with LVE it was skill and talent. it wasn't all there. you can have all the skills in the world, but if you are 215lbs, you are going to lose a lot of battles and have trouble getting off the blocks.

Why are people knocking him? He's right. We're too undersized. When we have the lead and can pass rush, it's a thing of beauty. When we meet a good rushing team and they get an early lead, it's game over. Look at entire schedule for proof.

Losing our best run-stopping DT and several Safeties injured definitely doesn't help, but basic concept of our D being too undersized for large physical run teams who get lead early is still there.

No it doesn't.

You defeat blocks by getting to the point and playing leverage. It doesn't matter if you're 215 or 250 if you have a 320-lb puller.

They suck, as they had to let too many D players go to pay Hurts, AJ, Lane Johnson, and Mailata. Those 4 players account for 112 mil, almost half the salary cap.

The Cowboys defense is built for speed. The fact they went out and got Hankins was something of a surprise because they seem to prefer smaller more mobile players. LVE is bigger but he is soft too. Donovan Wilson was the hardest hitter on the team last year and he is not the same player this year. It seems when the Cowboys do hit hard, they get flagged for it!

I am not going to allow one game to determine my opinion about the Cowboys defense, but there was definitely a big problem Sunday where LBs were not in position and when they were they missed tackles or could not get off of blocks. The Cowboys defense was slow to react to running plays against the Bills. Maybe it was a one game thing, I don't know, but there were plays where the RB got the handoff and the LBs took a second to see the play and move to the point of attack, often getting there too late.

The team was just not showing the quickness and determination we have seen from them in the past.

I found it shocking that people are disagreeing w/ him. I thought it was obvious. We have S's playing LB and 3 techs who lack sand in their pants.

That's because they lack instincts for LB. Because they are not LB's. And the ones that are lack instincts because they are not very good.
