LVE has been injury prone his entire career. Wasting a 1st on him was ridiculous, and yes, I thought so at the time. LB is the toughest position to play in the NFL. You take a pounding every play.

Cowboys LB group has been a major weakness for over five years now. The loss of Overshown really hurt this teams chance to address that weakness.

Signed Rashaan Evans.....tried to get Shaq......I don't think this is something you can upgrade off the street you have to go and find your replacement at the beginning of free agency. In hindsight maybe we should've looked at some of the guys the Eagles gave up on like White or TJ Edwards....TJ Edwards wasn't that expensive.

I think this team knows what they have to do which is why they want ball first. They know they have to score first and play with a lead because they can't stop the run. Those safeties at linebacker are overkill. That was supposed to be what you do on passing downs not when they're in jumbo or 22 personnel.

Acho isn't dumb. He actually knows what he's talking about. Sure some stuff is for entertainment but here he's 100% correct. DT's and scheme have nothing to do with you having 4 safeties out there against jumbo packages and 22 personnel. Its insane. A 1 tech can't save you from having Bell going up against 6'6 240 pound tight ends. Its fine in coverage and on passing downs but not when a team is running down your throat.

I mean linebacker play is tough around the league. Its not a position guys play at a high level for. Those days of Ray Lewis types are long gone. You see Shaq Leonard goes from a All Pro to frankly not even being worth playing anymore by the age of 28.

Yeah I questioned why the Eagles even let him go they're currently missing him. Hell their linebackers are even worse than ours right now. Because Hurts is making 51 mill. The Eagles top 4 players are making 112 mil/seaosn. They're paying their OT's 20 and 16 mil.

Eagles also let both their starting S's walk and their staring NT. It would have been way more shocking if their D hadn't had a major dropoff.

I think it's quite ironic that their decision makers didn't appear to understand what made the Eagles great last year. It was their D. Oh, and yet another example that it doesn't matter who your CB's are if you have poor S play.

This is going to suck some draft picks up next year. I've been looking at FA Linebackers for a while since LVE's injury, and it's bleak. It would be a huge mistake to go into next year counting on Overshown with that type of injury, no game time to prove anything yet, and his college injury history. LVE's career is over, Clark is so/so, and Bell is a baller but undersized.

We knew this and most here wanted us to add a LB at the deadline. The team chose to stand pat. Now we’ve got what we got and the blueprint is out for how to beat us.

I knew the crazy way we started with like what 3 linebackers on the roster at the start of the season. I was like ain't no way we are counting on LVE staying healthy for 17+ games.
Dan Quinn failed us.

This is going to suck some draft picks up next year. I've been looking at FA Linebackers for a while since LVE's injury, and it's bleak. It would be a huge mistake to go into next year counting on Overshown with that type of injury, no game time to prove anything yet, and his college injury history. LVE's career is over, Clark is so/so, and Bell is a baller but undersized.

Realistically I think you draft a linebacker and sign one in free agency. Zack Cunningham isn't that good now but there use to be a time you could get him for about 4 or 5 million or like this year you could've got TJ Edwards for 6 million. I think these type of vets will do.

If I was Miami I would run run run and run. No way we stop it with this tiny line up. We are worst than last year at the linebacker position. If we are going to solve it we better do it quick. Go get some vets or look on someone practice squad. We have to sign someone and get them coached up asap. No way we make it far in the playoffs hoping our offense can start fast every game and force a team to pass pass pass.

Did nobody else see the red flags during the offseason whenever someone would be injured or there was questions about depth Dan Quinn’s responds would basically be “yeah, we got a safety that can fill in”.

We don’t even have safeties that can play the safety position.
