He continued to show the rust, but we didn't pay for it today. Hopefully he gets his sea legs and Newman returns. Can't complain with giving up just 7, but the D did look sloppy at times.

Overall, we looked like we're continuing where we left off last year, at least offensively. Next week will be a true test though.

I think he nearly had 2 INTs.

On that play in the end-zone....think about it. They guy would have scored ANYWAYS so I didn't see a problem with what he did honestly....it gives us another chance to hold them.

But yes....he needs to get better.

Pac can use more work for sure.

But let's remember that the Browns offense is PRETTY GOOD.

That's no pushover offense. They have a great TE and WR and a very good QB and OL, and a good RB.

I agree..Adam will get better each and every week as he learns the system and sheds the rust.;)

Pac did look rusty, but as the game wore on he started looking better. We'll see next week.

I think we all knew essentially, that it would take a while for Pac to get back 100%. It may take up to the latter part of the year quite frankly.

And he was still miles better than Jacques Reeves

Well.. yeah. :laugh2:

On some plays though, was I wrong or was Scandrick lined up on Edwards, and giving him a huge cushion? I take it they were moving Pacman to the slot, but why would they put the bigger, more physical Henry on Edwards?

I think they were trying to stay true to the matchup they had planned for Henry to be on Winslow most of the game. Scandrick is more comfortable in zone than Jenkins is at the moment, but he had help over the top.

Pac will be scary by mid season.

Agreed, did you see how fast he was on that one almost pic?! To me he actually improved during the game, although that may have been wishful viewing :)

Yes he did have a so so game..............but I honestly don't worry about him. With more playing time he will make thoughs int. and have better position so that he will not make the penalties like today.

Overall......the D lloked decent..............started off a lil slow but pulled it all together as the gane progressed. How can you complain about 7 points....lil over 100 yds passing and less than a 100 running. Good Job D !

I say leave him in there...about time we put a lead on a team and they don't slide back into it like a lot of the games last year...he almost had a pick and was close to stripping the ball out on another play...that was a decent offense and they only scored 1 touchdown.

That play was sick, a vision of his true athletic ability. He wasn't anywhere near the receiver when Anderson let go of the ball.

Hmm it's obvious like the elephant in the room huh... :laugh2: Cut the guy some slack, Jones hasn't been on a football field in a year, I say he did pretty good considering the fact.

I wonder what Speedball's line was today. Couldn't have been pretty with that final score. :D

Ah, the days of eduncan22 and his videos. I almost miss them for their comic relief, but then the drugs wear off...

The defense held a top 5 offense from last season to 118 yards in the air and less then 200 total for the day. Hard to complain about anything in my opinion.

Braylon Edwards and Derek Andersen looked absolutely attrocious. I think our defense had a lot to do with that.
