I doubt we get either. We have too many of our own players to resign before we open the check book to Suh

Heck no. You need more than one stallion in the race to improve your odds.

In the Tampa-2, you need 4 pass rushers, and like 1 decent cover centerfielder type MLB, and a good centerfielder type saftey. Tampa, had Brooks, who was not a MLB, and Lynch, and a GREAT DL. The Bears, had a good pass rush, Urlacher, and no safety. So does signing Suh, kill the cap? Yes, but it might get you very close to having an effective Defense.

No thanks. Re-sign Murray. And as far as Suh, he could have a great season, do something stupid the last game and get suspended for the playoffs. And with our luck, his suspension would be upheld on appeal.

I don't really care for Suh, regardless of how good he is.

He's a dirty player, which in itself should take him off anyone's list, but the heightened level of exposure and scrutiny he would receive in Dallas would make him a marked man.

High dollar players guarantee nothing. That should be obvious by now. Spend the money on solid upgrades across multiple positions.

Normally this is true but not for young truly elite players
This is not a guy who is at the end of his career and has ready won a SB
You could argue that he is the second best defensive player in the league and is still young and hungry
Players like him, AP, you don't say no to if you can afford them reasonably

I will take 1 of either Suh or Hardy
They would both change our defense

"Both the Seahawks and Patriots have proved that running the football is key to winning championships" ?????? That can't be, I have been told rushing has nothing to do with winning. lol

I can think of 12 million reasons why AP will stay in Minn if they choose to keep him.

Remember when we thought we were good with Ware, Rat, Spence and they all got hurt. Can never have too many

Who is this "we" you speak of? I recall being PO'd because Jerry completely ignored the DL that off-season despite having older injured players starting and zero depth.

We have one that needs to be re-signed. Dez. There will be plenty of space for Suh.

Agreed. Sign Dez and figure it out from there. This HAS to be on the table for this team, but it doesn't HAVE to happen.

Suh would completely change the fabric of the defense. It would be instantaneously and significantly better.

Get it done.

First, I totally agree with you...he is a dirty player and potentially one "over the line" act from a suspension. Also, the $$ he would cost could pay a few good players. Having said that, and playing along with what was stated in the article, what would you say if it came down to paying him to be on your team (like him or not, he would definitely strengthen a position of weakness) or letting the NYG pay him and play for them (against us twice a year)? If that scenario were to occur, it would present somewhat of a dilemma. All hypothetical, I know...but not entirely out of the realm of possible.

We seemed to handle him pretty well.

Whoever signed Suh to that contract should be out of a job. Really screwed themselves on this one big time.

He wanted that contract structure so he wouldn't get Franchise tagged. A lot of elite players make similar demands now. Revis did the same in NE.

So you would sign players as a GM just so you don't have to play them?

LOL.
