From waht I recall, players that play a large number of downs beyond what's expected of them based on experience and salary have received end of year bonuses from the NFLPA as a kind of performance award.
I think by that formula, Petitti might receive a bonus comparable to/larger than his entire rookie salary! I mean, a 6th round pick playing every down at RT for 16 games?
