Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells left open the possibility that OT Flozell Adams could be benched if his play does not improve soon. The Cowboys could turn to rookie OL Pat McQuistan to replace Adams.

He should be put on notice.

He's played like a bum in the two losses.

In fact he was a major contributor in the two losses.

And his problem is not physical - it's mental.

Mental lapses and missed assignments.

When he plays like he's capable, he's a fine tackle and the entire offense looks better.

When he doesn't, the entire offense claerly struggles.

I expect him to rebound with a solid effort against a weak Texans defense but if he doesn't he should sit.

Anyone could be benched.

We live and die with Flo this season. Let's all remember that he was rusty as hell coming in camp, got hurt, and didn't play much at all until the first regular season game. He stunk it up against Jax and Philly -- but those are pretty good lines. Now if he hasn't gotten it together by game 8 or so, then we've got some serious issues.

What about Bledsoes play?? Im sick of Bill.

I agree with the Bledsoe part, he also should be put on notice with Flozell and P. Watkins. It seems everyone is put on notice but Bledsoe.

You cant put a rookie on the same kind of notice. Even Bill said he would handle Watkins differently.

Oh, I see... you are lumping Drew and Flo and Watkins together because they are all STILL making rookie mistakes... I gotcha!

Remember Troy trying to run for his life, then Q, then Vinny, then....well you get it.

Lots of people said (myself not included....) that maybe not having Larry there for the first time in his career would effect him.

These people might be right. That, in addition to his rehab, is no doubt causing him some problems. He and Kosier should move in together.

One of the things I've noticed is that this team seems to go on how well both Adams and Bledsoe play. If Adams plays well, generally Bledsoe plays well. And if that happens, Dallas usually does pretty well.

We have young unproven GOOD talent in McQ and Romo... lets let them prove it
