Adams could be benched??

well, he's playing no better than a rookie, so what would it hurt?
in some ways i think it *might* help because then we'd start running plays against better Ds that account for inept LT play. we're calling plays like we have a solid LT which is not the case.

Cool, thanks.

I'd like him to get on the field some too.

I think after after the utter debacle last year when Flo went down a lot of people forgot he was maddeningly inconsistent even before he got hurt. I'm really hoping McQ is the real deal and can take over next year.

Exactly,He as been inconsistent his entire career in Dallas. He'll show you some great stuff then turn around a kill a drive with a stupid penalty or missed assignment. We shoulda cut bait on this guy a long time ago.

If McQ gets to play we'll see a lot of Romo because Bledsoe will be hurt soon after. LT is not the place you want a 7th rd rookie.

Sorry to disagree o wise one --but no one is a bigger revolving door then flo

Why not here...I say it in every other Oline thread...

FLO IS A RIGHT TACKLE...and that's where he belongs!!!

Although Columbo is playing well right now, so where would he go :lmao2:

its good that BP is calling him out like this. I dont think its a lack of ability that Flo is having trouble, he may just need more time. Get McQ in there and lets see what he can do against the Texans.

I think BP is just trying to light a fire under Flo, I expect Flo to play this week and get the job done.

BP tries to light fires, but how effective will he be since he rarely pulls the plug on players mid-season. I'm talking higher profile players like QB, LT, RB...etc...

Ellis can be a good example against, but BP does not like change once he gets going...so his threats are somewhat empty.

I don't think we'll get any answers this week anyway.

What would Adams playing well against the Texans prove?

About as much as him playing well against Washington or Tennessee did - nothing.

It would be a nice luxury to be able to get McQuistan active this week and possibly get him some live game action.

But I doubt that's part of any NFL team's plans, and certainly not Parcells'.

I'll say this it is much easier to pull a positional player than it is pulling a QB. Parcells has benched RB's in the past and has rotated O-lineman in the past. QB's are different and most coaches are leery of pulling a starting QB unless they feel their is nothing to lose. I don't think Bill feels their is nothing to lose I think there is a lot to lose.

I agree but Adams playing well would give him like any player a bit more confidence. We get after these players but I think players by nature are harder on themselves than we are.

Last time I checked they are still an NFL team with professional players on the roster.

Not to mention the #1 pick in the draft lining up across from him.

Doesn't Williams play the defensive left end? That would put him at the other end as Adams is on the offensive left side. I know they've started moving him (Williams) around from end to end (including playing tackle) So Williams will face whomever the Texans think is the weakest link.

What about Bledsoes play?? Im sick of Bill.

Parcells has a realistic alternative to Adams in McQuistin.

Putting in Romo is effectively writing off the season. I don't want to put in Romo until the post-season is no longer a possibility.

Ask the Buffalo Bills how they feel about replacing Bledsoe now after 2 years of pathetic performances by his replacement.

McQuistin has about a total of (3) years experience playing football at any level. Romo has been in the NFL (3) years. I think swapping Romo for Bledsoe is a lot more realistic than swapping Adams for McQuistin.

Odds are 99% that pulling Bledsoe means writing off the season. Fans may like that idea but JJ and BP aren't that stupid. Post season hopes need to be over before Bledsoe is benched.

I could not DISAGREE more with this statement! Putting Romo in is not writing off the season...it's giving us a better chance to WIN.

Bledsoe has proven over and over he will not be able to take us there...there is so much track record to pull from it's ridiculas...

Sure, they did that in Buffalo and it worked great :laugh2:

In New England's 2001 season, Brady ran a vanilla offense but the won the SB because of defense and special teams. Dallas doesnt have the players on D and ST to pull that off.
