TO could not get off the jam. He wanted to get the ball as a 1st line WR and he no longer was one. "Chemistry" or Garrett wasnt the problem I believe, TO just wasnt the same player.

He became a vertical threat and no longer as effective on mid-range routes.

TO had 8 games with less than 40 yards, 10 with less than 70. If you remove his best and worst games of the year you are left with 822 yards on 14 games. Thats 59 yards a game.

While I hope you are right, I am on the fence with the move to release Owens. I see it being successful if the Cowboys can run the ball effectively. If not, it could be a long season. Also, we are one injury away from having a very mediocre receiving core.

I have an inside look with TO's new team. Already, I've been told that he has already changed the atmosphere at their facility in a positive. It will be interesting to see what ESPN tries to bring up this year....
