Blah blah blahThis is Jerry's mess not Dak. Stop deflecting blame from the architect of the past 28 seasons.

Resigning Micah means only caring about jersey sales.
IndeedBlah blah blah
you didn't miss out, it was my first time there and my last!! Didn't like it at all, the Mall was more exciting than the game!!I had the opportunity to go to the Giants Thursday night game and I declined it. I have no interest in seeing them play live. Which is something I never thought I would say
Yeah but it's Dak and Zeke's fault. I heard it right here.On DSPN now they just showed highlights of the lions OL and DL just mauling the h—- out of the boys lines, Jeff Saturday said if you get 2 plays a game where your OL pushes the DL off the line and the back gets 15 yards before they are even touched you are happy but the lions got over 10 of those plays Sunday. WOW!!!
So Jerry has become the new Colonel Sanders just a ceremonial part of the company. A figure head that does little in the day to day operations of the Cowboys. He hasn’t admitted it. It’s a combination of Stephen and McClay. Jerry is just called in for the big things. He doesn’t do contract extensions. He probably couldn’t tell you everyone on the practice squad or maybe even guys 48-53 on the roster.
I’ve heard this from someone who works with Jerry on one of his other businesses. He has so many real state, developer, bitcoin, etc businesses he does not spend 24/7 on the Cowboys and hasn’t in a LONG time.
My hope is that the product on the field gets so bad that Jerry hires a real GM.2000-02 brought about 20 years of mostly relevance because of how bad it got. This is going to be at least a 2 year cycle. Theres not cap room for many reinforcements this offseason.
Oh, so they are both playing at an all star level then?Yeah but it's Dak and Zeke's fault. I heard it right here.
Not if it's in the best interest of the team. Sustained success, even if it hasn't been at championship level, is what's kept ownership out of hot water. 12-5 for 3 consecutive seasons has given him all the ammo he needs to say "well...uh....look, I know we haven't accomplished the goals we've set....but uhhmmm...winning 12 games in a season isn't easy to do. We're close. I believe in this roster we've built, and I believe the players that I've paid hundreds of millions of dollars will elevate their game and take us where we need to go"."After Jerry's rant how can you do anything but root against this team"
Why in the world would a Cowboy fan root against the Cowboys? Sounds like a pretty crappy fan to me
Nope and neither of them will as long as the offensive line continues to struggle.Oh, so they are both playing at an all star level then?
Imagine signing Zeke to be your short yardage back and then not even playing him in the red zone. His attacks were below the belt and pathetic.
Stephen and Jerry’s condescending and arrogant behavior with their “GM” title is just such a turn off.
To pretend you’re the brightest guy in the business with nothing but being 30 year losers in the business, displays that they don’t have a grip on the reality of the world around them.
Unfortunately, we are lost.
Let’s let Zeke rest all during preseason as well. We are saving for these games, so that we can trot him out for 1.6 ypc.Imagine signing Zeke to be your short yardage back and then not even playing him in the red zone.
Shows he had no value to begin with.
Imagine relying on 5-6 rookies to save you day 1 without any backup plan.
Just awful
The material change would be what they do to the roster and if they resign Micah, there won’t be material change to this roster for 4 years until Daks contract is done.Over the years, I have contributed my fair share of sarcastic comments about Jerry Jones and his management of the team. Generally, my comments have been in jest... and, at no time, has my fandom wavered. The Cowboys are my team.
Nonetheless, this season seems different. It feels even more circus-like, even more Jones-centric. Many of the front office moves defy logic and Jones's approach is anything but "all in".
Sadly, I don't see any significant changes... with the exception of possibly dumping MM at the end of the season. We've been down that path several times in the past with no material change.
