I had the opportunity to go to the Giants Thursday night game and I declined it. I have no interest in seeing them play live. Which is something I never thought I would say
you didn't miss out, it was my first time there and my last!! Didn't like it at all, the Mall was more exciting than the game!!

On DSPN now they just showed highlights of the lions OL and DL just mauling the h—- out of the boys lines, Jeff Saturday said if you get 2 plays a game where your OL pushes the DL off the line and the back gets 15 yards before they are even touched you are happy but the lions got over 10 of those plays Sunday. WOW!!!

Yeah but it's Dak and Zeke's fault. I heard it right here.

He hasn’t admitted it. It’s a combination of Stephen and McClay. Jerry is just called in for the big things. He doesn’t do contract extensions. He probably couldn’t tell you everyone on the practice squad or maybe even guys 48-53 on the roster.

I’ve heard this from someone who works with Jerry on one of his other businesses. He has so many real state, developer, bitcoin, etc businesses he does not spend 24/7 on the Cowboys and hasn’t in a LONG time.
So Jerry has become the new Colonel Sanders just a ceremonial part of the company. A figure head that does little in the day to day operations of the Cowboys.

"After Jerry's rant how can you do anything but root against this team"

Why in the world would a Cowboy fan root against the Cowboys? Sounds like a pretty crappy fan to me
Not if it's in the best interest of the team. Sustained success, even if it hasn't been at championship level, is what's kept ownership out of hot water. 12-5 for 3 consecutive seasons has given him all the ammo he needs to say "well...uh....look, I know we haven't accomplished the goals we've set....but uhhmmm...winning 12 games in a season isn't easy to do. We're close. I believe in this roster we've built, and I believe the players that I've paid hundreds of millions of dollars will elevate their game and take us where we need to go".

You take that away from him and we're already starting to see his ego fall apart. JJ made some really bad decisions this offseason. Retaining McCarthy without extending him. Hiring a new DC with a new scheme on a 1 year deal. Refusing to do anything in free agency after a good portion of contributors walked. Relying on rookies to fill the shoes of long time quality starters and contributors. Extending Dak and Lamb without addressing the trenches or run game. He was complacent and chose to rest on the last three seasons, thinking the results would replicate themselves on their own. His ego got us into this mess, and now we see opposing fans overrunning Cowboys Stadium. We see opposing teams throttling his highly paid superstars. We're seeing historically bad results on our home turf. It's exactly what this franchise needs right now to temper the legendary Jones ego.

We could maybe win some games and close out the season with a record right around .500, but what does that accomplish? We still have the primary problem of the last three decades running the show and doing as he pleases. We still have a bunch of overpaid crybabies running to Jerral when the big mean coach does something they don't like. We still have the same mediocre culture we've seen since the turn of the century. Nothing changes, other than whichever puppet HC and coordinators Jerral chooses to do his bidding. Where does that get us? Exactly where we've been. Not good enough. If the historically bad home performances continue, the fanbase will force JJ into doing something he doesn't want to do. Give up control to somebody that knows how to build a championship team. I'll always bleed blue, and Dallas is my NFL team for life, but knowing all of this, I'm having a hard time getting behind this year's version of the Cowboys. I don't necessarily hope they fail, but it's looking like that's what will happen, and I'm not upset about it.

Fish said in his morning show that jerry did the thing on 105, on purpose !!!!!!!!!
Did it again at owners meeting, on purpose !!!!!!!!!

He did it to be the top story, and it is, over devonte and amari trades, and to shut people up on roster moves.
Right now everyone is talking about what he wants them talking about ! lol.

Jerry is the one everyone it talking about , and that is what he wants.

Keeps cowboys relevant during the whole bye week period lol

I think jerry is tanking on purpose lol, that why elliot got priority over rico in the detroit game.
Jerry isnt going to make any moves to help the 2024 team, he wants them to fail.

No playoffs this year, so no one can bash their playoff losses !!!!!!!!!!
If they arent in the playoffs, they cant fail can they??

His attacks were below the belt and pathetic.

Stephen and Jerry’s condescending and arrogant behavior with their “GM” title is just such a turn off.

To pretend you’re the brightest guy in the business with nothing but being 30 year losers in the business, displays that they don’t have a grip on the reality of the world around them.

Unfortunately, we are lost.

Imagine signing Zeke to be your short yardage back and then not even playing him in the red zone.

Shows he had no value to begin with.

Imagine relying on 5-6 rookies to save you day 1 without any backup plan.

Just awful

Over the years, I have contributed my fair share of sarcastic comments about Jerry Jones and his management of the team. Generally, my comments have been in jest... and, at no time, has my fandom wavered. The Cowboys are my team.

Nonetheless, this season seems different. It feels even more circus-like, even more Jones-centric. Many of the front office moves defy logic and Jones's approach is anything but "all in".

Sadly, I don't see any significant changes... with the exception of possibly dumping MM at the end of the season. We've been down that path several times in the past with no material change.

Let’s let Zeke rest all during preseason as well. We are saving for these games, so that we can trot him out for 1.6 ypc.

Zekes signing further suggests this is a Hollywood, family-oriented, and emotional decision based franchise.

Like justifying keeping our “son” Garrett as “HC in training” for what felt like 20 years of embarrassment

The material change would be what they do to the roster and if they resign Micah, there won’t be material change to this roster for 4 years until Daks contract is done.

Anyone with sense would trade him. The best thing a Cowboys fan can hope for is that this defense is abysmal when he’s back and he doesn’t make an impact. Then his jersey sales hopefully aren’t as good and they stomach trading him.

Because his holdout next training camp 100% won’t end before he threatens to want to be traded. Him getting mad at the Joneses is about to get real weird. And I don’t put it past CD to pull a Stefon Diggs and want out soon after he’s got his $.
