Not defending Jerry by any means, but we all know Jimmy didn’t do much in Miami. Jerry & Jimmy were great together and had something really special in those short 5 years. We all know Jerry had a big hand in why Jimmy left and to this day is still the main reason why this franchise hasn’t sniffed a NFC title game. In any case, Jimmy won’t sniff the RoH until Jerruh gets that 4th Super Bowl ring that solidifies his football man status. 25 years and counting…..

No surprise here because if Jimmy was going to tell his professional story accurately he couldn't do it without exposing Jerry but it sure won't help expedite his ROH induction I'm sure.

I knew the story well and it still made me sick to read it. An Owner destroying a dynasty simply because he wanted credit for things he didn't do. It's the most egregious act I've ever seen in sports.

IMO he took it easy on Jerry. He doesn't go into that much depth but he has to address it to explain his departure from Dallas. Why he was burned out. How long he was dealing with this nonsense.

To the sane these comments are rather benign. To an egomaniac they are a declaration of war.

I fear he will leave this Earth never seeing his name where it belongs in that stadium and that will be yet another abomination committed by the 9th wonder of the world: the ego of Jerry Jones.

Who is 80 years, 1 month and 16 days old. In case anyone was wondering.
Jerry is the Cowboys anti-christ, pure and simple.

Jimmy earned his Hall of Fame jacket.

Jerry bought his.

Likewise, Jimmy deserves the ring of honor, and Jerry doesn't.

No, we don't all "know" that. Jimmy took over a struggling Miami and built their defense into #1 in the league. While Jerry was busy destroying our dynasty drafting guys like Shante' Carver and David Lefleur , Jimmy was loading up Miami with guys like Jason Taylor, Sam Madison, Patrick Surtain, and Zach Thomas. The problem Jimmy had in Miami was that Marino was at the end and the Miami owner at the time would not let Jimmy replace him. The team's offense was basically Marino's. Jimmy's hands were tied and he was saddled with a struggling offense. So, it is totally unfair to conclude that Jimmy "didn't do much" in Miami.

As for the ROH, that's pure grudge. Jerry does not want to see Jimmy basking in the glory of a packed house, HIS house, honoring the 90's dynasty.
