No, that was a textbook ILLEGAL block. Aikman, Buck and everyone else who thinks it was a bad call don't know the rule.

Not to mention that exact same call was made on TO in the very first game this year,,,

I also don't think the pass to Crayton could have been picked.

I watched it time and time again and it looked like the guys arms were fully extended and he was just able to deflect the ball with his fingertips.

Romo put just enough on it so it could not have been picked!

Nope. Went right thru the defenders hands like a basketball through a hoop. He was smelling 6 and didn't finish. Otherwise.............

Okay my bad then, I bit for Aikman as well - he has the whole world thinking that was a bad call. So the WR cannot come back into the play and hit low?

Correct. Remeber that T.O. had the same penalty called against him early in the first game versus the Commanders this year.

That was an illegal block.

Okay, from the other side ...

  • Tiki's fumble was recovered by the Cowboys and was seen on one of the camera angles the replays showed (the last one I believe) during the live game but not on NFL Replay. The guy for the Giants who got the ball pulled it out of the Cowboys players hands several seconds after he had possession but the refs were looking in the wrong place.
  • Eli threw two should-have-been-interception passes. One went right into the stomach of Bradie James but he wasn't expecting it so he missed it.
  • The other went right into the arms of Aaron Glenn but he couldn't hold on to it in the end zone.
  • Ware was held on several plays throughout the night.
  • On the long screen pass play to Brandon Jacobs, I believe it was Aaron Glenn was blocked in the back (very plain to see) but no call was made.
Now, I'm not complaining but I am tired of people saying we were lucky and the Giants played better. Neither team was great but the Giants were not as good as people are making them out to be.

You could also add that ridiculous pass interference call that Glenn had on Plexiglass.

I believe that was on A. Henry not A.Glenn.

Let me just say that the Cowboys owned them but still barely came out with the victory. Romo, if needed too, would've kept driving the ball down the field.

Romo's biggest enemy was our very own defense. They had the ball way too long, and thus, Romo had to make his few opportunities effective.

Bad analysis... If we were to blitz more than Eli would have floated deep balls over our DBs heads like hes done all his career. The defensive gameplan we had set was fine, Eli just had a good game.

I gotta say it... if not for th FOUR personal fouls by the Giants it could have gone the other way... they were a earlier version of us with penalties costing them

We had drive momentum killing penalties as well just not as painful as the Giants. When you try to intimidate and cheap shot players like Playtexico you deserve what you get.

I am so glad we never signed that weak gutted prima donna receiver. T.O. at times deserves criticism but he is not a cheap shot artist and usually backs up his mouth. Piss on Burress who also benefited from a ridiculous and horrific pass interference call against Henry who in close coverage turned around and made a play for a pass as well.

We let the Giants waltz down the field to tie it at 20 after keeping them in check all day - why? b/c Tiki ripped us underneath.

This one hurt the most.....

I was at the game so I had a different perspective.

- Romo Should have been picked on the Crayton play WOW!

- Giants got a bad call on the crackback block?

- Romo was OFF - he took some bad chances and got lucky. He could have been picked in the EZ by Madison on Glenn route.

- TO's drops were absurd and put Romo over 300 for the day.

- TO's catch and run on 3rd down was huge.

- Aaron Glenn had Eli picked in the EZ , should have made that play.

- We don't blitz enough - we gave Eli way too much time.

- We let the Giants waltz down the field to tie it at 20 after keeping them in check all day - why? b/c Tiki ripped us underneath.

- Henry&T-New and Glenn made some huge open field tackles, Henry especially inside the 5 on Jacobs which helped force the Giants settle for 3.

- That was some catch and throw by Romo to Witten - WOW. Even when Romo was a bit off- he had 20 completes and a HUGE pass connection with Witten.

and if and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a good christmas.....every team has something in a game that they look back on and say man we got away with some things....just take it like you got it......a win...thats all thats important.

Didn't think much of this before the replay, but we looked really strong moving the ball downfield in the two minute drill. On the last possession of the first half, it was a good mix of run and pass that got us into FG position. Gramatica kicked us to 10-7 at the half.
Romo then drove us down the field again in the last possession of the 2nd half. Yeah, we made a few mistakes down there with penalties, but man, we can move the ball when it counts. Romo's just making it look tons easier than before.

Romo has a 119.1 rating in the last 2 minutes of the first or second half this season, which is 17 points higher than his overall rating. Just to compare, PManning has an 84.3 rating in the last 2 minutes, which is about 16 points lower than his overall rating.

Yup! I was ready to throw/hit/curse..... something LOL

I am sure MANY of us in here are just like me in the sense that... "when its game day, I get antsy" - - "when the game starts I am pumped, you cannot talk to me" - - "when either team is driving, I am a lightning rod = stay away"

LOL

That one is dead nuts. I also saw some hands to the face borderline facemasks on him. Not 1 call. I don't know how he held his cool, but good job.
4 personal fouls committed by the giants 1 of them cost them a TD the other gave us one. In that I include Plaxico calling a time out with about a minute 40 something on the clock which gave us more time to score. Stupid is as stupid does. Nothing to do with luck.

That is true...The Giants player did not go for the tackel...he just dove infront of Ware...it is ILLEGAL to do that, plain and simple.
