I was going to post the following yesterday watching the Giants-Red Skin game, but decided to wait until this morning. The Cowboys will lose against a great defense and the Giants have one. If we stick with what we had in the two loses to the Giants the outcome will be the same. So, the Cowboys will have to do something different with what they have or . . . . go . . . . . with . . . . Romo! He can win the game with the Giants or Atlanta. This should be in the game plan for these playoff games!

“the Giants! Yes, I saw a great defense choke the life out of the Commanders. I hate to say it but Eli wins his third Super Bowl ring. Each time the Giants have won a Super Bowl they had the best DL in the NFL. This time they have a better defense. I would give the Cowboys runner up to the NFC but we would have to have a better defense than the Giants to win.”

You could be right. You could be wrong. Lets see if the Giants can beat the Packers on the road. HUGE difference between the Commanders QB and the Packer's QB. Eli will have to score some points and regardless of what media folks say he has played well below average for the last few years. If pressured he will make some stupid throws.

Nice little analysis there, but the Giants aren't that good. If we stick with our gameplan on offense and actually hold onto the 5 interceptions that Eli throws us we'll be fine.

Do you really think they will play Romo now? Dak Has the best rookie QB season ever, there is no justification for benching him and you know Garrett won't do it.
Garrett has also seen what happens to Dak and Zeke in the two looses. If he is every going to be mentioned in the same sentence with New England's coach as a head coach then he WILL be thinking exactly this!:omg:

I do think its weird that alot of people are saying the Giants will win that game.

They have been holding teams to around 15 points to win, yet at this point we are supposed to believe they can do that to Rodgers at home.

Have fun with that dream Giants.

The Giants ain't making it out of GB unless they find some offense, if they do they ain't holding us to 7 again the next week so I like our chances. The only team I hope someone takes care of for us is ATL I like our chances against every other NFC playoff team

Well I don't think the Cowboys are going to forfeit, so we just have to see how it plays out. First the Giant have to get by the Packers, and somehow I don't think that will be easy. But even if they don't, does anyone think the Packers, or whoever Dallas plays will be easy. This is the playoffs, there are no easy roads to the Super Bowl. Can you imagine if Dallas does make it to the Super Bowl and the Patriots are the team they have to play. That coach and quarterback combination are like nothing Dallas will have faced. It was never going to be easy to win the NFC, let alone the Super Bowl. As for a quarterback change, how did it work out, the last time Romo faced a good Giants defense in the playoffs? If I remember correctly, they blitzed like crazy in the second half, and the rest is history. Why are people so afraid to allow Dak (and the team he currently leads)the chance to succeed or fail. Dak and his current teammates earned the right to play the season out with the current line up they have. Going 13-3 gives them that right. Romo had 10 years without anyone ever challenging him for the starting job. Even when he played bad, there was never a threat to his position. So why are people so quick to want replace Dak? when all he has done is win.

Since that loss......you have also seen Garrett see the effects of just moving Dez in and out of the slot to get him involved. Still think they will use the 2 week off to throw in some extra wrinkles such as more stack plays, rubs, one on one with TWIll/Bulter, wheel routes with Dunbar, TE seam routes......I'd be shocked if they just show what gave them the loss......

Unfortunately the Giants $200m defense is playing lights out, their secondary is shutting people down. Yes their offense is sketchy, but all they need is a couple of throws to Odell to break it open and it looks like they may have found their rb in Perkins. We have seen them do it before with a devastating defense and God would I hate to see Eli get a 3rd SB ring. The are going to be a very tough out IMO...

I hope you're right, but they've had years to figure out all those wrinkles and haven't done it yet.

the Giants will be one and done. they will not be able to keep up with the Packers offensive

the two offensive teams give me the most concerns. Green Bay is peaking, and Atlanta has been great all year. those two will both be tough outs

Well see, you could be right. The Pack has the best pass blocking OL in the league from what I've seen.

Rodgers missed some guys yesterday, though no one mentioned that among the slobberfest. He'll see less free running receivers next weekend. Should be a good game, and we should be cheering for very physical punishing play in both sides.
