Well see, you could be right. The Pack has the best pass blocking OL in the league from what I've seen.

Rodgers missed some guys yesterday, though no one mentioned that among the slobberfest. He'll see less free running receivers next weekend. Should be a good game, and we should be cheering for very physical punishing play in both sides.
this is the playoffs, we need to put on our big boy pants and fasten them tight.

but as I see it, the giants are the second best option for us

Detroit is who I prefer the most, followed by the Giants, then Seattle, then Green Bay, and Atlanta worries me the most.

Dak has earned his right to play. But these games being one and done if he isn't playing at a high level I would make the switch to Romo.
You just can't wait till the games are out of control.

Well I don't think the Cowboys are going to forfeit, so we just have to see how it plays out. First the Giant have to get by the Packers, and somehow I don't think that will be easy. But even if they don't, does anyone think the Packers, or whoever Dallas plays will be easy. This is the playoffs, there are no easy roads to the Super Bowl. Can you imagine if Dallas does make it to the Super Bowl and the Patriots are the team they have to play. That coach and quarterback combination are like nothing Dallas will have faced. It was never going to be easy to win the NFC, let alone the Super Bowl. As for a quarterback change, how did it work out, the last time Romo faced a good Giants defense in the playoffs? If I remember correctly, they blitzed like crazy in the second half, and the rest is history. Why are people so afraid to allow Dak (and the team he currently leads)the chance to succeed or fail. Dak and his current teammates earned the right to play the season out with the current line up they have. Going 13-3 gives them that right. Romo had 10 years without anyone ever challenging him for the starting job. Even when he played bad, there was never a threat to his position. So why are people so quick to want replace Dak? when all he has done is win.
Are you asking why because you really want an answer or is this just you making a statement?
I'm not the OP and I would never expect Dak to be replaced with Romo at this point but it pretty easy to understand why people want Romo to play against the Giants. It's because people have seen Dak and our offense struggle big time against the Giants pressure defense. They have seen Dak look like a rookie only a few times all season and each time the defense scheme that made him look like this has been the same.
People who feel Romo gives us the best chance to win against this defense are not idiots. They have seen Dak struggle several times this year against it and they have no reason to believe next time will suddenly be different.

Now again I understand why it will never happen. But at least I can understand why some fans think it gives us the best chance to win. It would be like having Julio Jones on the bench while Janoris Jenkings presses Dez Bryant for the third straight game and expecting Dez to suddenly figure out how to beat him. Of course fans will rather see Julio face Janoris over Bryant. It's not the fault of a fan for wanting to see Romo against the Giants.,,it's the fault of Prescott for not showing fans anything that makes them say next time will be different.

What would be interest and I hope never happens will be if Dak plays the Giants and they make him look confused and shaky and ineffective for 3 quarters in a playoff game.....does JG stick with him in the fourth quarter or does Romo get put in to try and save the day? I'm not sure I know the answe to this one,

I was going to post the following yesterday watching the Giants-Red Skin game, but decided to wait until this morning. The Cowboys will lose against a great defense and the Giants have one. If we stick with what we had in the two loses to the Giants the outcome will be the same. So, the Cowboys will have to do something different with what they have or . . . . go . . . . . with . . . . Romo! He can win the game with the Giants or Atlanta. This should be in the game plan for these playoff games!

“the Giants! Yes, I saw a great defense choke the life out of the Commanders. I hate to say it but Eli wins his third Super Bowl ring. Each time the Giants have won a Super Bowl they had the best DL in the NFL. This time they have a better defense. I would give the Cowboys runner up to the NFC but we would have to have a better defense than the Giants to win.”

Well shucks, here I was looking forward to watching the playoffs and now you've gone and spoiled the ending. Then again, maybe I'll watch anyway? Just in case. ;)

You just can't wait till the games are out of control.

You also can't yank your QB in and out of games and expect to go anywhere.

Yeah thats my only question. If we are down 21-0 against that Giants D at the half, do we trot Romo out there for the second half.

After all Dak hasn't scored that many points against them all year.

In the play offs? You only have the game you are playing. If he's not showing well and you have Romo on the bench you certainly can yank him. If you stick with him and he's playing poorly your done any way. Now if Sanchez was our only option Dak plays till the last whistle.

a ROMO led Offense beats the NYG by 21. The NYG do NOT advance to the SuperBowl....

I've read all of the Nostradamus quatrains. No where in there did it mention the dominance of the New York football giants but someone should probably get this info over to the comish so we can save ourselves some time and heartache

I for one, am glad that the Giants wasted all that money on high priced defensive FAs and we didn't

I'm honestly kind of surprised that so many folks are concerned about NY.

Think about this- they finished the season on consecutive road games. They will be on the road next week. If they somehow beat the Packers, they'll be headed to their FOURTH consecutive road game as they visit Dallas. Being on the road takes it's toll.

And on the flip side, they beat us in friggin week 1, before we even got our feet underneath ourselves. And when they beat us the 2nd time we were on consecutive road games and had to deal with Dak's first bad weather game in the NFL.

And we still almost beat them- BOTH TIMES.

If we see them in the post season I'm confident we'll squash them.

Funny people forget they lost to Philly just last week, yet they are hot!

People see 2007....I remind them however we won both regular season games that year.

Game 1 a rookies first game and the Giants only won because Williams went inbounds
Game 2 - frigid temps threw Dak way off
