If that was mediocrity, then what we've been playing over the last dozen seasons is vomit. Just remember, both of those "mediocre" teams beat us this year-with the Cards putting a whuppin' on us. The Steelers have six trophies because they have more class and continuity in their ownership than the Cowboys do.
The Steelers play great football year after year after year because they have a foundation of greatness and a formula for winning. They know what kind of players are "Steelers" when they go into the draft each year, and they draft them. There was no doubt in my mind that they would draft Lamarr Woodley from Michigan in the '07 draft. He just looked like a Steeler when he played.
I hope that some day Stephen will take over, (soon, I hope), and he will know what kind of players are "Cowboys". Maybe then, we will get back to a winning tradition.
