Eagles and Patriots are a little too high. I think the Steelers are too low. Dallas @ 28? I would have us 1 spot ahead of the Giants and bump everyone else back one.

As Cowboys fans, it's time we came to the realization that no projection will change how the Dallas team is now seen, but winning and earning their own way back up.

We should be giving just that observation back up to Jerry Jones.

wow i'm sorry but almost that entire list is a joke. i could argue almost every team from 3 to 32 on their placement. 1 & 2 are the only ones that make sense b/c they are so obvious

good grief this was a bad effort on rankings5

maybe it's just me but i'm glad about our perception now. we don't have to continually hear about how "great we think we are" every time we struggle and how we didn't live up to expectations. i got so sick and tired of mediots saying that Dallas thought they'd win the super bowl every year and using that to take jabs at us when we would never say it and it was in fact the media that would always gush about our "talent"

Good thoughts, really. I have to agree, the Cowboys are on the basement level of the NFL right now. No sugar coating now.

But they have a good fight coming up, let's just enjoy the battle that is coming!

Dallas shouldn't of dropped that low imo. We could of EASILY won the game, and were outplaying SF and outplaying ourselves at the same time.

SF didn't do much. They were given 4 T.O's and gift wrapped the game, but were being outplayed. That shouldn't warrant a high move on their part.

Eagles @ 4 :lmao2:

They're not much better than the 28th ranked team.

Not quite sure why people think the Eagles are rated too high. They hired a good coach who turned things around quickly and they took care of business week one. Jerry OTOH has stuck with his trainee. We could learn a lot from the Eagles (not to mention the Seahawks and Niners).

Maybe because the almighty Jags dominated them for a half?

Are you kidding??? Look I'm not here to pour salt in the wounds but were you watching the same game as me? I seen THREE flags that were so bogus Stevie Wonder could have seen it. Two out of the three called back a third down conversion. The worst was a phantom offensive pass interference call that negated a VD 30 yard pass play. The Refs did everything to giftwrap YOU the game. The Niners were playing to kill the clock with Gore and Hyde (both averaging 5.0 YPC. which is why scoring in the second half was down. You didn't gift wrap a thing.

Well, since we are playing fair. Tony did and along with the Strip/fumble did gift wrap it. Now i agree the second half was playing to the gift. So i give ya that, but let's not get carried way here. Dallas is not that bad and SF is not that good. it's some where in the middle you will find the real truth. Again, i'm not saying Dallas is better just could not be a better start for your team.

I am quite serious bud.

7 free points off the fumble. 7-0 Niners.

Romo throws 3 of the worst INT's he has of his career, all in drives we would of had points on , if not TD's. Here I will go through with them for you
- PA to Dez *Which by the way warranted a 15 yard defenseless receiver flag for dirty hit*. Normal Romo hits T.Will which had abused your coverage and would of been a TD if not an easy long completion. Instead Romo threw into a trip coverage instead of the wide open receiver.
- PA rollout to the right with a lob to Witten into.... triple coverage. Remember where the offense was at this point? Yeah the goal line.
-Romo underthrows yet again on another pass that!

2 of the 3 INT's not only led to 14 more points for you guys, but also took off a sure 14 points off the board for us. How do I know this? Oh because T.Will was wide open, and also we were at your goal line twice and refused to run the ball with a full set of downs.

I apologize, but there is no way your rag tag bunch of a DL was going to stuff Murray and his ~6 YPC 3 times in a row. We shot ourselves in the foot and we forfeited 2 TDs on top of that. That is called free points, and MOST teams won't be giving you such favors.

Wide open Dwayne Harris in the endzone as well. Hmm. If you didn't notice Romo had one of his WORST games of decision making and accuracy. This was NOT because your defense is GOOD. Romo was overthrowing receivers the entire game, a thing he rarely does.

Don't give me that you were playing to kill the clock, because Kap was throwing on 3rd downs. Your offense STAYS THE SAME regardless of who you play, or what the situation is. Harbaugh is not one to kill clock and let a team back in it, Harbaugh is known for going for the jugular to make sure the other team doesn't creep back in.

Like I said, any halfway decent team would of beaten you yesterday. Your defense looked bad. Be thankful Romo was giving out candy Sunday.

Look we have to play with what is on the field. I don't follow your team enough to know what starters were out for you in the game but I do know Sean Lee was out and I know he is a big play maker for your team so your defense would have played better had he been in. We are also missing some big names on defense so I'm sure we would have played better defensively as well. I'm sure both teams are better than the performance that was displayed on Sunday. The Niners are where they should be in the Power rankings IMO.

umm, that fumble was a strip!! Usually caused by the defense wouldn't ya agree? Two of those three picks were made in tight coverage so give credit to the secondary. Yes Kap was throwing on 3rd down and if you look at the 3rd down conversion rate in the game it was WAY above the average. Though we can't play against you and the refs at the same time.

Oh as for Harbaugh not playing conservative after a big lead. Just ask New England a couple years ago. That is his M-O on big leads.
