Are you kidding??? Look I'm not here to pour salt in the wounds but were you watching the same game as me? I seen THREE flags that were so bogus Stevie Wonder could have seen it. Two out of the three called back a third down conversion. The worst was a phantom offensive pass interference call that negated a VD 30 yard pass play. The Refs did everything to giftwrap YOU the game. The Niners were playing to kill the clock with Gore and Hyde (both averaging 5.0 YPC. which is why scoring in the second half was down. You didn't gift wrap a thing.
Penalties were about equal, atrocious calls on either side, though the most egregious was probably the Davis late 3rd down conversion.
But you can't ignore the totals dallas had more yards and more yards per play. Dallas OL completely dominated SF, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. We had the same yardage totals, just on 7 less carries. And Dallas did shoot themselves in the foot on the goal line twice.
Kudos to Justin Smith for taking advantage, but Romo changed the play without changing the protection, and the OL was run blocking. Pretty stupid considering the cowboys had been gashing SF the whole drive. And then of course, Dwayne Harris was wide open in the endzone before Romo made another poor decision and threw another int. to me that's an easy 14 points we just didn't post.
And of course on an other interception, Terence Williams was open for 6 directly in Romo's sight Line.
Not saying Dallas should have won, no telling how it would've shaken out, but the 9ers were far from flawless this game and the Cowboys were far from hapless.
You just have to understand that this is far and away Romo's worst showing as a cowboy ever. Just loads of unforced errors.
But your team was better.
