I thought you guys might appreciate the whipping I handed this E-Girl fan in my fantasy league...
Here's my first message:
If Dallas sucks, then the E-girls are in big trouble.
The game I saw, Dallas dominated yards and time of possession. If we don't make awful mistake after awful mistake, we win big. The defense dominated except for a few mistakes by a rookie safety and short fields created by Bledsoe.
5 turnovers and three big errors by the defense, and we still had a shot to tie at the end.
And this was your Katrina game on your home field. Dallas wins by 14 on a neutral field and by 21 at home.

Any Eagle fan who isn't wearing rose-colored glasses is very afraid. I came away confident cause I figured we'd lose given the emotion factor. Even New Orleans looked good against Atlanta. Good luck once Westbrook goes down permanetly.

I guess you were watching another game. First of all the Eagles had more total yards than the Cowboys, as a matter of fact Donnie passed for more yards than the entire Dallas team got combined. The reason Dallas was able to hang on to the ball for 36 minutes is because it did not take the Eagles very long to score.
The Eagles made some pretty horid mistakes as well. They didn't score from the 14 of Dallas, McNabb's ugly interception and the TD run back, the pass interference call at the end of the game, etc.
The truth is that Eagles are a much better team than Dallas is this year. Our offense is better and we were able to get to Drew 12 times sacking him 7. The cowboys secondary is not very good since Donnie picked them apart all day. The Eagles are deeper on both sides of the ball. To say Dallas will win by 21 at home is laughable. If the Eagles are 100% they would have won that game by 4TD's instead of 2.
The bottom line is that the Eagles won by 2 TD's and when we play on Dec. 25th it is going to be even worse for Dallas fans. There is NO ONE on that Dallas team that poses a threat to any DENFENSE and please don't say Tony Romo.
Now, Here's My Butt-Whipping:
First, AllStar says the Eagles made more mistakes. Just idiotic.
His examples:
a) They didn't score from the 14 (where's the mistake, sounds like good D -- Donovan didn't miss anybody wide open or anything)
b)McNabb's INT -- was caused by a huge sack and a great snag by Ware -- not a mistake
c)The end of the game pass interferenc -- Saved you guys from a TD!!! And didn't end up costing you
All of these arguments go in my favor, plus Dallas had 5 turnovers on the road and still almost won. Here's my examples of mistakes (that really are)
a) The eagles got 7 points b/c our punter dropped the snap. I guess you're counting on that happening again in December? BTW, if this doesn't happen, Dallas is tied and at your 5 with no time left. We kick the fg and win instead of the pick.
b)2 guys were covering the flea flicker -- should have been picked, but you got a TD
c) A safety forgot to cover your TE, leading to another score.
d) On the Baskett TD, our Dlineman had McNabb dead for a big sack and just whiffed.
e) Bledsoe misses TO for a wide open TD and throws a pick (there was no pressure)
f) Bledsoe (again no pressure) throws an awful pick at the end
So, all of your TDs came off of silly mistakes MOSTLY because you had the crowd and the emotion -- won't happen at Texas Stadium.
Second, AllStar claims the truth is that The Eg-girls are much better. Anybody who watched that game can't say that...plus, Dallas looked way better than did the Eagles. Here's a nonbiased source, Len Pasquarelli, "In the long run, though, many came away from the contest believing the Cowboys had outplayed the Eagles in several facets, and Dallas might ultimately become the better team. Right or wrong, such a suspicion was based on two factors: First, despite surrendering seven sacks and five turnovers, and with quarterback Drew Bledsoe playing miserably, Dallas still had a chance in the closing seconds to send the game into overtime. Second (and far more meaningful), the Cowboys have assembled a defense that could emerge as a terrific unit."
This leads to AllStar's third argument -- the Egirls D is much better. This is just a lie.
a) Check the stats -- the Egirls had 60 more yards, but over 180 came on the three big play mistakes. Dallas held the ball for more than 15 minutes more than the Egirls.
b) The Egirls were 2-12 on 3rd down -- this is the best (statistical) offense in the NFL
c)Yearly d stats -- YPG: Dallas 291, Egirls - 335. And the Egirls have played the Texans, Green Bay, and San Fran. Give me a break! You have 6 ints in 5 games, and 4 were last game...lol.
d) Just look at the players -- Dallas has more youth and more talent. Anyone with a Brain knows the Egirls D is there weak spot and the Boys D is strong.
e) Finally, lets tally the Eagirls drives...except for the few mistakes, Dallas played great and the egirls couldn't get going
1) 5 plays, 15 yds
2) 3 plays, -7 yds
3) 4 plays, -68 yds and a TD given up to Ware (who is better than any 2 players on the EGirls combined)
4) 4 plays, 61 yds, TD. 60 came to LJ on a blown coverage. then it took 3 plays to get 1 yd
5) 7 plays, 12 yds
6) 4 plays, 2 yds
7) 4 plays, 9 yds
8) 1 play, 87 yds, TD (missed sack)
9) 5 plays, 26 yds
10) 3 plays, 0 yds (lol)
11) 4 plays, 76 yds (almost all on flea flicker which should have been picked)
12) 5 plays, 20 yds.
Subtract the errors, and the egirls sucked -- won't happen at our place.
Fourth, AllStar claims Donovan picked apart the secondary and our secondary sucks. Wrong. We have 2 all pros. Over 180 passing yds came on 3 blown plays, all by our rookie starting fs. He'll be better by Dec.
Fifith, AllStar claims they are deeper -- My ***. We are deeper at WR, RB, LB, Secondary, QB, TE -- no argument. We tie on DLine. They win oline, that's it. He's just wrong.
Sixth,if the Egirls were 100% -- excuses, lame. Everybody has injuries and u weren't missing much.
Seventh, AllStar claims no one on the Cowboys poses a threat to their D. Ummm, that's not what Andy Reid said. That's not what the score said (24 points), that's not what the yardage said (over 320), that's not what JJ said (over 150 total yards), and you really think the All Pros TO, Glenn, and Witten pose no threat? Gimme a break.
There you have it -- an argumentative *** whipping. It's really easy when you have the facts on your side. Despite the hostile environment and everybody on the Egirls playing their hearts out, Dallas giving up a 10 point head start, turning the ball over 5 times, and blowing assignments from mental farts, We still had the chance to tie with 30 seconds left.
Without McNabb, the Egirls are a 6-10 team. That's just the truth. Swithc McNabb and Blesdsoe, and the Boys would go 14-2. The egirls will go 10-6 this year. Anybody who watched the game saw the better team lost. Even Egirl fans (the ultimate, loser homers) were starting to worry. We will by at least 14 in Dallas -- and it won't be that close.
