I think Troy is just calling it like he sees it, being the objective analyst that Michael Irvin can't even pretend to be. He really wants Dallas to succeed, so yeah he probably is not crazy about the Jones' ...

Apparently there’s fans that want Aikman to carry on and cheerlead the team like Irvin does during preseason broadcasts. I really don’t take much of what Michael Irvin says about the Cowboys very seriously because he is a homer.

True, I don't see that in Romo or Aikman. When they played for this team they gave their all, I expect nothing less as their careers have now taken them into broadcasting. They have a job to do and they do it well. Regardless if they covering theCowboys or some other team. They give you their views and do not sugar coat it. I may not always agree with everything they say but I don't think there is any hate there

They call it wrong at times or are way overly critical of Dak. That's a fact. Just listen to them.

I listened to them, and they’re only critical of Dak when it’s called for. He started off the game not very good and he played horrible against Washington the previous week. He entered last nights game throwing picks in seven consecutive games, and he had three pick-sixes in his last four or five games. That’s going to garner some criticism! They were very complementary of his play last night when he finally got on track, He played terrific!

It killed him to compliment Dak - it burned him to watch JJ celebrating.

Dak was up 12-0 and Troy said he still didn’t look right .

He was begging for interference calls on Dallas .

Just watching the game now, Troy was praising Dak most of the time. Talking about selective perception by the OP.
