If Rush throws for 320 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs Sunday night and we beat the Eagles by 2 TDs then what?

You still want to hand the 5-0 without him team back to Dak while being 0-1 and scoring 3 points with him?

Ya'll act like Dak hasn't played and looked horrible this year.

I would be thrilled if he did and Rush would make it hard to take him out of the lineup. As for Dak he played bad game 1st of the season as did the team in general, way too many penalties run defense was poor as Fournette rushed for 127 and Tampa controlled the clock.

I don't think those things happen with Rush on offense when it comes to the penalty issue.

Why has all these issues magically gotten better with Dak not playing? 1 or 2 games could be a coincidence, but we're 4 games in now and a lot of the problems that plagued a Dak lead offense doesn't plague it right now.

Even a Trent Dilfer could beat Philthy with the way our D is playing. So even if he (Rush) does that don't mean anything. Now, if he does and then Dak comes back and plays like he did against the Bucs and loses to the Lions, then that question becomes hard.
I hope you guys don't expect Dak to not have another bad game in his career? He will. That's part of sports. Anyone who's played will tell you this. Rush is doing better that we hoped and that's not lose a game on account of him, ie, fumbles, ints, etc. But, to compare Dak against Coop....no comparison.

Nothing magical about penalties, it comes down to discipline and making sure players use proper technique. Coaches deserve a lot of credit for the decrease in penalties. Fact is Dak has played 1 game this year so making more out of it than there is, is ridicules.

You don't think having the guys in the right positions and being able to read a defense to get the guys in those positions helps?

No, it makes it easier to wait until he is fully healthy before starting Prescott again.

I’m no big Dak supporter, but I understand that we aren’t winning a championship with Cooper Rush.

Even the biggest of Prescott supporters have to admit he looked terrible vs Tampa as far as accuracy. Do we really want to see him come out and try to throw with a bad hand?

If does and looks awful, that could potentially blow this up.

IMO Prescott sits until he is 100%, and returns the minute he is no matter the circumstances.

I believe that MM feels the same, and while Jerry like to flex, I doubt he overrules anyone here. He still has the fans attention, and that’s all it about for him.
I think what it allows is for Dak to get some reps in rather than rushing back to action. We can get him to the point where everybody is thinking Dak is ready.

Oh, did that mean Aikman hurt your wittle feewing about your love affair with Dak? How embarrassing! Dak has a girlfriend, so settle down when someone says something you don't like about The Dak. YOU CANNOT HAVE HIM!
Pfft! Romo is waiting for his back rub. Get...

1st off stop the BS he can't read defense that is a load of crap. as for Penalties vs Tampa You had Steele jump offsides 3 time in the game and 1 holding call. Overall sloppy game and not due to Dak. Dak himself did not play well but overall penalties was not due to Dak.

I'll ask again.

You don't think guys being in the right positions ready for the play matters when it comes to penalties?

Dak is a very low-level reader of NFL defenses. You can dislike it all you want, but NFL defensive players and coaches know it. That's why they want to make him beat them instead of the run game.

NO I don't, I do not believe the QB is responsible for other players penalties. You can make that claim and mean nothing to me as if you know what the play is and what the reads are on any particular play? You spew stupid crap and think if you say it enough it will somehow be true? Evidently not all coaches and players know this or else Dak would not have .624 winning percentage as starting QB

If Dak comes back and the penalties start racking up again on the offense because the players are having to deal with changing plays at the line and having to compensate for the QB not knowing what he is seeing then be sure to blame Moore or McCarthy for it, k?

Rush changes plays at the line as well, you seem to be under the impression that he is not allowed to call plays off or change up formation? That is untrue and even McCarthy has said Rush has the ability. Watching the game Rush has yelled kill on several plays. This is pro football there are times base on defensive alignment if QB does not change the play to a set check off play the chance of that play ending up failing or creating negative play is great. They are not doing it to be hero

Not if Rush looks like crap doing so. If he drops 450 on the Eagles, then you start to ponder.
If he drops a 100 and wins then they need to stick with R-U-S-H! Prescot never shows up in meaningful games, he implodes in front of our eyes with his irradiate play and clueless decisions.

No, I'm under the impression that Rush actually sees what the defenses are doing and makes the right calls at the line.

That's literally my point.
