Troy agreed with Mike and Mad Dog that the Cowboys may collapse now, or at least step back. Said Dallas could go 16-0 and it wouldn't mean a thing because we worked so hard to get to 13-3 and a 1st rd bye and then blew it, that you do not comeback from that, you don't just b ounce back from that. Said a meaningless regular season can take it's toll on a team over a full season.

They also all laughed at Jerry paying JG as much as Wade and that asst coaches and coaches were upset at him making this kinda money.

Great. :bang2:

garrett got garrett value. he didn't raise the price of the position and everyone and their brother will 1 - ***** because there's pre-determined destiny here by a coach who's wanted by many for the same money likely. yet, now we have 2 - now compare him to an average assistant coach OF WHICH who's not near in demand and whine the position is overpaid.

is it me or did the media make sure to cover both bases on this one?

Colts bounced back from losing the playoffs after a 14-2 season and went on to win the SB.

We may not go 13-3, but there is no reason why we can't win the NFC East again and be in the playoffs. We have a young Squad, a Stud QB, Garrett is sticking around, Houck may be an upgrade, Two Number picks and a good amount of Cap room. Sorry,Troy I coundn't agree less, Hopefully, this loss will teach us a lesson.

Whatever.

We're a young team. I doubt all of our young players will just get worse.

Troy is absolutely right. This loss will haunt them for a long time. It might even linger into next season and dallas might not even play hard in the regular season and believe they just can turn it up for the playoffs and be ok. It's exactly the same approach the mavs took earlier this season. After getting knocked out by. golden state in the 1st round of the playoffs. They came into this season believing they didn't have to play hard in the early going. I could def. see this as a factor going into next season. Just look at what happened to the chicago bears for instance. Who would of thought they'd be so horrible this season.

do you let the media and other talking heads persuade you all the time? Lord help this person!

I guess we shouldn't play next season because Aikman said we would regress?

Like the Chargers this year after going 14-2 and losing first round?

Why did I both responding to a ScottCase post? :bang2:

What business does San Diego have being in the AFCCG then? Someone needs to tell them they can't be there.

What does he have to be so bitter about Tony failing to win a playoff game in his 1st two outings? I think it's safe to say Tony is never going to have a crack at breaking any of Aikman's playoff records. If he keeps up with his losing ways in the playoffs.

Troy stopped being relevant when he was kicked to the Valley Ranch curb, where he suffered a concussion.

agreed---------he used to be my favorite Cowboy.....but he does everything he can to separate himself from us....I know he has to be impartial on the air...but come on does he not remember the only reason he is famous .....?

Moose, Emmitt and Michael are on the air and they always give the boys props

I dont expect him to be a complete homer..but he could give some love

plus the way he talks about other QBs...."you gotta throw that away" "you cant just stand in the pocket that long" ......does he remember his last 4 years.....?

As I recall didn't Denver lose in the first round a few years ago as the #1 seed and rebound to win a couple of SBs?

Each season is different and just because Troy struggled with going through a regular season doesn't mean this team will.

What did he say that was so outlandish? I'm sure the Saints, Bears, Eagles and Ravens fans were sitting here last year sure that they were going to be back this year competing for a title. I'm sure Dan Marino thought he was going to several more chances for a ring after he lost in 1984. Not every team has multiple chances. We just flushed an opportunity down the toilet, and there's no law that says we're going to get another one.

Wow, this wouldn't be the cowboyszone without a "I hate Troy Aikman" debate. Freaking dumb.

Odd, because he said almost exactly the opposite on his weekly spot w/ the Ticket just yesterday.

I believe there's a thread w/ a recap posted yesterday?
