nothing special...but a few of his comments, written as he is saying them.

Its likely Dallas loses the Lions game if the right call was made.

This week we probably will see the best 2 offensive lines in football

whoever is most effective running the ball will win this game

I had the same injury as Rodgers has. I was surprised at how effective I was in my first game after the injury, though I didnt rely on my legs. I think Rodgers will be fine because I think he will be able to move and slide in the pocket. He just wont be able to take off and run.

Dallas has been in playoff mode since Thanksgiving. They are at least as hot as any other team.

This is the best feeling I have had about this team since I retired.

I spoke with Jason Garrett earlier today as part of our pre-game preparation and he said this week's practices remind him an awful lot of the practices we had during our championship years...back when he was a teammate of mine.

-end.

I was vaguely recalling that Aikman played in a Superbowl with a torn calf?

Am I recollecting that correctly?

I Don't believe we lose the game if the flag wasn't picked up, there was too much time left in the game. We may have had to score on the last possession but I think we would have still pulled it out. JMO

he is still talking...gotta add these.

I think the perception of Tony Romo has changed dramatically over the course of this season. And last week's game helped him even more with this.

(was asked if he thought Romo was holding the ball too long)
I think its part of the what he does now. His weakness has always been throwing an interception at the worst possible time. Rather than forcing throws, he is more content on taking a sack instead of risking an INT. And if you have noticed, he isn't trying to force deep throws. And thats partly because he has a better defense and he doesnt feel he has to score on every possession.

Why do people think this? Did they miss the last 8 minutes of the contest?!

If you go on Expected Win % from the computers, IIRC...it was greater than 50% for the Lions if they got the first down. So technically Aikman is correct.

I just find it funny because up until that point, the refs were bad in favor of the *Lions*. They took away a critical 3rd down conversion on a bogus offensive PI call on Williams and a TD from Murray on a bugs holding penalty on Witten.

Certainly, the refereeing was a big story in the game. But it definitely worked against the Cowboys. The difference was that the Cowboys were able to overcome it and the Lions weren't. That was the other part of the story of the game.

But it's Dallas, so we must cook up conspiracy theories and treat the call like it was the worst call ever and well...just make things up like 'I've never seen the make an announcement and then pick up the flag!' (happened last year in the Pats v. Carolina game, happened back in 2005 game against the Niners).

Just more of people that can't be objective and think on their own.

That's disappointing that he felt the need to say that. Regardless of how that penalty went, there absolutely no way you can say that with any real conviction. We were outplaying them badly in the second half and could have still won without it even being that crazy.

Oh well
The rest was good

How about if we would have lost on that call knowing that there was a face mask? How come nobody's talking about that? Troy, as much as I love him helped turn this into a much bigger story then it was.
