Looks like it was Dak's decision because he had a RPO.
Exactly.. the receivers were blocking. Good eye

Dude, Jerry just admitted they left too much time on the clock.
So everybody from Troy Aikman to Jerry Jones to 99.9% of the fans think it was botched......everybody but you apparently.
So they don't throw it and Zeke breaks it for the TD on the play instead...this is stupid, arm-chair QB, nonsense.
In that situation you don't need to kill the clock. You need to score. This is what people are forgetting.
we can all agree the pass to dez was dumb as rocks. now let’s say dak slides at the 1 on his run. gb probably uses their TO right? u don’t think they do that and let’s us score on the very next play, leaving basically the same amount of time on the clock?
i’m agreeing with you on everything you said. but i do think this was a possibility.
I feel you Troy.... Great decision there....

I do blame him and his clown staff for that particular call. Just keeping it real too.I like troy as a commentator, but his comment here reeks of arm chair coaching with the benefit of knowing the result. Most coaches will tell you that 2nd &1 is one of the best situations to pass...for obvious reasons. Of course it does require one to catch the ball.
I think JG is a boob of a coach and nothing but a JJ yes man, but I don't blame him for this particular call. Just keeping it real.
That is just the apologist way of trying to weasel JG yet another pass. Screw that. You know, as coach, he can tell his players "hey, run the play because here's the situation.........." Who gave him the RPO?
But yet again, it's the players' fault. Always the players' fault with Garrett and this coaching staff.

You were playing Aaron Rodgers (with a suspect defense). This is what a select few people are forgetting.
The goal is to score. They lined up and saw they had Dez in a favorable look. They took their shot.
THE GOAL IS TO SCORE. Please take game context into consideration. It wasn't as if they threw into triple coverage just to throw. And it wasn't as if they could do whatever they wanted to GB at will (they were a half inch from being stopped on 4th down just a few plays earlier).
THE GOAL IS TO WIN. Speaking of context, we had 1:40 seconds and 2 timeouts left. We just ran for almost 9 yards. We had 3 down to get less than 2 yards for new set of downs. Zeke was running well. There was no reason to take that risk at that point in the game and run a pass play to score. You run and you either score or at worst get closer to 1st down and keep the clock running. We had 3 downs to either score or get new set of downs and burn more clock. That was the better option in this context than passing.

I was trying to be nice but.. Yeah. Go ahead. There's nothing suspect about it. It's a downright pitiful defense.
The smart thing for GB to do was insure OT and stop throwing once they got close enough, Lewis almost picked off the pass before the TD. I wonder if GB fans would be *****ing like this if we got a turnover while they were trying to win the game?
You know what other "results" Aikman's knows about?
Winning.
That playcall was "football stupid" and everyone knows it.
Just keepin it real.

Was going to say the same. The coaches should have told him at that time that this is not the time for a RPO. Run the play as called. You know, as coach, he can tell his players "hey, run the play because here's the situation.........." Who gave him the RPO?
