That's ridiculous. Anyone who followed the draft knows Carp was never seen as a reach. As I noted, several pundits thought he'd be a better pro than Hawk.

I just love how who got picked is blamed on BP when they fail but who got picked isn't credited to him. So he got overruled in one situation but not the other? Right.

Unbeknownst to you, your friend recorded the whole event on his cell phone and is shopping the vid of an inebriated idg talking smack to a wall poster. Video should be released by noon tomorrow. Now, for a small fee........

There was a reason teh packers defense actually got better toward the end of the season. That is because they moved Hawk out of the middle. The guy was competent about five years ago. Ted kept him around for some stupid reason and not because he was playing good. The joke Packer fans made was that having Hawk on the field was like having Dom Capers on the field. Except we all thought Capers was faster. I really was excited when this guy was drafted but he rarely made a big play. Of the 900 tackles he supposedly made, 890 were seven yards past the line. Packers defense just got better with him off the field.
