Signed by Cowboys Al Harris named DB Coach

The thing is I wouldn't be comfortable with either of these guys being the secondary coach and a partnership where one coaches the corners and the other the safeties seems like a communication disaster waiting to happen.
I think we might still bring in a secondary coach.

Linguist and Harris's resumes are a bit thin for NFL secondary coaching job.

I like it, I dont know much about him other than I hated him when we played him, gave our recivers fits..talked alot it seemed.

Glad hes finally on our side.

I remember this guy. Obviously he was a corner and there safety at the time was Atari Bigby. They were a good tandem if I recal .

Al Harris will join Mike McCarthy's staff as a defensive backs coach. Harris played for McCarthy in Green Bay and was an assistant in Kansas City from 2013-18. He had 21 interceptions in a 14-year career. The Cowboys will also have former Texas A&M cornerbacks coach Maurice Linguist as a defensive backs coach. No decision has been made yet on a receivers coach but Adam Henry, who was with Cleveland last year, is among the candidates.

I liked Al Harris's play type when he played. He made plays and was VERY physical for an undersized corner.

Hopefully that rubs off on his players as a coach haha

So one coaches corners and the other safeties.

Or one is the secondary coach and the other the assistant. Heck if I know.

And they'll each call coverages independently.

Something only Dallas would do. Lol.

..I luve it. Feels good to actually have a quality coaching staff along with HC. .....................its been a long time Cowboy gang. ;)..
