Feeble attempt to pump up trade value?

How do they know he wasn't talking about McCarthy?

I was counting on him to be a starter. If he just wants to be a rapper that’s good, it just doesn’t fit in with the Cowboys. So I hope he can play some ball, I see more future in that for him.

That is pretty strong praise. Hopefully it is a forecast of much better gameday play from Joseph this season.
Is it? I find battery acid to be corrosive. That's not something you want from a player.

He looked good in the reps that I saw of him at camp. Receivers made some catches, but he was in good coverage. I think he had a better day yesterday than Diggs did.
I only saw one play, but CeeDee broke his ankles.

When they went 7's and 11's he was not very good. I hope he improves, but it's year 3. I solid reserve.
He got badly toasted on a double move by Lamb. Of course, he's not the only one to lose such a battle, but what I'm looking for from him this year is mental growth. Can't be biting and getting burned for an easy TD.

There is no such thing as mental growth with Joseph. They're going to have to dumb it down and hope for the best. The only reason he's an early pick is of the talent potential. This is year 3.

Oh, you're putting his production for the game on KJ? They had to scheme away from him to make that happen. lol

I'm saying nobody cared about kelvin Joseph. Why put him on Joseph when he didn't travel and a non nfl cb was on the other side? Lol you Joseph believers are hilarious. He's trash and was always trash

There are a lot of players who take longer to learn than others. There are some who never learn. I don't pretend to know which one of those Joseph is. I'm always reminded of Bradie James. It took him four years to get it as a linebacker and then he was pretty good for us for quite a while. There are other examples that can be used. Fans have little patience with players, but some require time to get caught up with the game. We'll see if he can do it.

At least I think he does. I need a translator.

He does look better in his hand technique. It is easy for anyone to see when watching cutups. He is doing a better job of keeping a hand just below the receivers pads to maintain contact and follow the route.

He's been torched by Lamb and Cooks on 1v1s a coupe times but that does not mean all that much; I want to see him in games.

Joseph has the it factor, athletically. He just needs to focus, use his head (he's not as dumb as people pretend), and tune out all of the outside noise.

If he can keep his mind in-house, and, as Jerry would say, his *** out of the streets, he can have a nice career.

With him, it comes down to experience. Or inexperience, more accurately. Let DQ work.
Similar (on field) issues as Awuzie when he was in Dallas.

Looks good all the way up to the point the ball arrives then can't contest the catch.

He does have the it factor athletically. It's the it factor mentally that's in serious question.

Is this a contract year for him. Just asking for a friend. He came out strong and then laid off.
