Al Johnson

Johnson played the entire first half, Gurode played the first two drives of the second half, then Johnson came back in for the final two possessions (the last TD drive and the kneel-down plays).

In all, Johnson was in for 40 plays (including the kneel-downs). On the 38 non-kneel-downs, we gained 222 yards and scored three touchdowns. Bledsoe was sacked twice (with 15 pass attempts). Jones rushed 16 times for 60 yards (3.75 YPC), with one run for negative yardage.

Gurode was in for 21 plays, on which we gained 81 yards and scored one TD. Bledsoe was sacked twice (with nine attempts). Jones rushed 10 times for 33 yards (3.3 YPC), with one touchdown and two runs for negative yardage.

Having watched each of them on every play, I'd give the performance edge to Johnson, and the stats seem to agree. But Gurode was adequate.

AdamJT you are soo good. It's unbelievable. There is no need for depth at the position of the statistic geek here at cowboyszone. You are doing it all by yourself. Great job.
