Al Michaels?

This -- although I do enjoy Kenny, Moose, and Goose.

If they would lose Kenny and replace him with Gus Johnson, I'd love that grouping. Kenny seems a bit bland.

Al and Collinsworth are my favorite, then the trio up there, followed by Aikman and his wanna-be girlfriend.

Collinsworth never seems afraid to call a spade a spade, especially when it comes to an officiating call. Aikman and his infatuated other half seem to hem and haw about it and then let it go. Collinsworth will rip the officials and has for years. Same thing with a bad play mistake.

If I'm not mistaken, he's a Commanders fan...

That's what they were originally called. Just a historical reference.
Because there was also another professional sports team called the New York Giants (baseball). Before they moved to San Fransisco.

To be honest, Kenny looks like he has Downs.

I may be in the minority, but Michaels is one of my favorite commentators.

Mine too. If you listen to my show, you can hear some of Al Michaels' inflection.

Not sure what people are griping about, they did fine. People just hear what they want to hear.

Anytime a game announcer or some talking head on ESPN or NFLN says anything that some FAN deems negative about the Cowboys they come appealing to the board crying about what a tool these people are. Several threads have been started on this in just the past couple of weeks. It's like some expect everyone who talks football to gush over a team that's 4 games below 500 the past 2 seasons and has only won one playoff game the past 15 years. These game announcers and talking heads aren't as bias as some here make it appear they're just telling it like it is about the Cowboys.

Sure some go over the top but in general they're objective. Once the Cowboys start winning consistently and have some playoff success the analysis of the team by those who are looked at as haters will improve. When a team keeps folding in Dec and has their butts handed to them in games that have their season on the line critical comments are going to be made. I've seen a lot more positive comments since the Cowboys opened the season beating the Giants. Opinion's of the team will improve if the team continues to improve.

Some here seem to think that everyone is suppose to love the Cowboys. Show me a struggling team that doesn't receive some criticism? Most of the negative comments I hear about the Cowboys from those who talk the game for a living is true and I love the team. Some here need to come to grips that there's going to be negative comments made about the Cowboys until they become a consistently good team. Go back to the 90's when they were winning SB's how many of those in the media were being critical of the team then? Nuff said!

I can take Michaels or leave him. I really like Collingsworth, however.

I like Al but I can't stand Collinsworth. He loves to pile on the Cowboys any time he gets the chance.

Wow....I think the opposite, he actually is pretty fair to me.

*******, Al is from Ny and was raised there for his childhood. He is a lifelong NY Giants fan.

Google it there are tons of site to confirm this FACT.

He's not a Cowboy fan that is for sure.

Al Michaels is a baseball guy first and foremost. He's an L.A. Dodgers fan.

He's not a fan of any particular NFL team, nor is he a hater.

Agreed, and I would place Aikman and whoever he's paired with as a close #2.

Michaels isn't exactly a subject matter expert but he does a good play by play and keeps the conversation semi-interesting. The few digs he gives the Cowboys are largely deserved, this team has been sub-par for a long time. If the Cowboys can keep this up I suspect Al will be a lot more complimentary the next time around.
Michaels is the best play by play guy. I think his points are usually fair. I like Collinsworth too - Collinsworth will say what he really thinks, he will usually state outright what others might hint at, sometimes it sounds a little harsh but i can rarely argue with what he says.
