I just re-watched the game and Singleton was in on at least 3 tackles and had a pass break up as well.

But let's not let facts get in the way.

I agree, I saw the same thing.

NFL stats disagree.

I clearly saw him whiff two consecutive tackles first half. He's gotta go.

As BZ said stats don't show all, I watched the game and saw Singleton make some plays out there and he was doing his job. Face it you been on him since before the season so of course you have a pre-convinced notion to begin with. As for Al going that is Bill’s call to make and fact is you were wrong when talking how Al would be cut

I think the most glarin, overlooked ano obvious fact about the Dallas linebackers is that Dat Nguyen is just too small to play in the 3-4.

Yes, Dat's size was clearly a liability in the first two games. ;)

Well, the point you are failing to grasp is that apparently there is no one on the roster that is good enough to replace him at this point. Maybe that guy will be Fujita.

Or that BP doesn't see it as being as big of a concern as you do.

Maybe the team should have gotten some big, playmaking LBers if they wanted to run a scheme that emphasized them.

Still, at this point, harping on Singleton is beyond silly. It certainly wasn't the run game or the short passing game that got this team beat.

I am actually surprised you aren't chirping about safety. The safety play was suspect in the last two games and thats something you can claim to be "right" about. That seems to be all you really want to do.

Dat was all over the place in that game, he may not stand tall but he plays big

Al made a nice play to break up that pass, but Nors, come on, lets not heap so much praise on Shanle, he was the one who was made a fool of by old man Brunell on that LONG scramble on 3rd & forever...

A REAL killer LBer LIVES for that moment and takes his game winning shot on the exposed QB...

Nope not us, Shanle looks awful and Dat will be put in that same situation vs filthy...Not fast or big enough to get McChunky soup in the open field...
I agree Burnett needs PT ASAP!

Our zimmy nickle/dime again was exposed as being passive & predictable only providing a loss...

Fugy didn't have any stats? He was around the ball and providing a impact in my book...

It did seem we spent nearly the whole 2nd half in the nickle with a basic 4 man rush, no confusing looks that had worked so well in the first half...

Ugh, we need innovation...Not CRAPNATION! :bang2:

Dooms: by my recollection, dat played the whole game on D and made 2 decent plays...

The well schemed blitz/stunt where he got the sack & the good read on the WR screen....

NOTHING else...

He doesn't make big plays nearly as often as a player should who DOES play every down because he is soooooo slow and of course soooo damn small...

He would be best served JUST playing in the nickle where he wouldn't be so beat down, where his good instincts could allow for some good "big" plays once in a while...He gets slower & much less effective as the game/season goes along...

I want Burnett in the game ASAP!

Dat led the team in tackles and had a sack. What more do you want from him?

He wants to be right. He doesn't care what Dat does just that he proves his point.

HH evidently you don't watch the games you make up this BS about Dat, try watching a game for a change or get someone to help explain what is going on evidently you have no clue. He lead the team in total tackles this past game including a sack and deflected pass not to mention an outstanding play breaking up a screen play where he cut through the blocker and made the solo tackle. So do us all a favor and get of Dats ars the guy knows that he is doing and does it but again it is clear you have no clue as to what is going on.

Doomsy I did point out what he did and what he didn't do...(Help us win)

The game is obviously too much for you to grasp...Feel free to ASK questions in the future and perhaps one day you might learn a few things about the game...

I agree, Al Singleton is messing up, not playing like he should, not sure what u guys think, but here is what i think says about some of dallas cowboy players, forgot which player had hit Burnell, they were rolling on ground, bradie james was coming up, he pulled up halfway stopping, then the ball popped out, if bradie james had gown full out, when brunell fumbled, james might have gotten the ball. Thats my point, players like him, dont go out, even he stated that if they needed him on special teams, he would, he said they would be allright, no big deal, thats my point, they dont bust their butt, just like Flozell, he has all talent in world to dominate a guy, half time he does pretty good, then other time, its like his head isnt in it, or heart, just like on that extra point attempt, he tried then, but was too late. So, i challenge the character of the team, the deep desire to win, dominate your opponent, what do u guys think?

Same thought here.
When he was in I did not see him make any playes or even assist or something.
Seems like he was always a step behind the player he should have been covering.

There's a reason Parcells took Dat off the trading block during the "Howard" phase of preseason. Parcells knows linebackers.

HH I have been around this game when you were still a thought in your mommy head, I do know what I'm seeing thank you very much and Bill does to which is why Dat is the starting LB on this team. So roll your eyes all you want in the meantime find someone who knows something about football and invite them to watch the game with you so one day you might actually have a fricken clue as to what you are watching because fact is you don't have any ideal what so ever.

How you figure? We had at least 3 sacks in the 2nd half, including RW taking MB down for a huge loss with about 5:20 left in the game.
